Day Shift July 2: A Squad
26-006177 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with two outstanding warrants while in custody at Hamilton County Jail. The warrants were for Forfeiture Capias (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) and Forfeiture Capias (Possession of Meth for Resale).
26-006179 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a green Dodge Charger for a window tint violation. During the traffic stop, the driver was discovered to be Driving on Revoked for DUI. He also gained charges for Open Container, Implied Consent, and a new charge of DUI.
26-006178 – Ringgold Road – Focused Traffic Enforcement – Police conducted focused enforcement of Ringgold Road throughout the day for Hands Free Violations. Over 15 traffic stops were conducted, which resulted in over 18 warnings and citations. We continue to strive for safer streets in East Ridge and ask that you put down the phone and drive safely.
Night Shift July 2: C Squad
26-006194 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property – The business manager found a backpack, cooking items and a purse next to a building on the property. Police responded to the scene and inspected the items. No contraband was found. Patrol then checked the area but did not locate the owner of the items. The miscellaneous items were placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room for safekeeping.
26-006201 – 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to a disorder at this address and found a man arguing with his mother. Police quickly determined that the man had been trespassed from the location and he was arrested. Shortly after his arrest, the subject threatened one of the officers investigating the incident. He was taken to Hamilton County Jail and charged with Criminal Trespass and Retaliation for Past Acts.
26-006207 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a party was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The warrant was an Alias Capias with an original charge of Driving on a Revoked License.
Day Shift July 3: B Squad
26-006216- 2100 BLK Wren Road- Suspicious Person – Police were called after the resident stated a woman was at their front door speaking to herself and acting weird. Patrol located the woman, who decided to throw a bag of meth away and act like it wasn’t hers. Police then attempted an arrest, and she began resisting. The woman fought officers and had to be transported to the hospital due to her being high and state law not allowing the jail to intake her. While at the hospital, she assaulted officers again by kicking them and remained heavily combative. Warrants for Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Possession of Meth, and Assault on Law Enforcement have been sought.
26-006229- 1500 BLK Keeble Street- Disorder – ERPD responded to the above address after a disorder occurred between four parties. Warrants will be sought for aggravated assault and false reporting.
Night Shift July 3: D Squad
26-006259 – 1200 BLK Laredo Avenue– Suspicious Activity – ERPD responded to the address for reports of seventy-five kids drinking, shooting fireworks, and swimming in her pool. When ERPD arrived, the homeowner advised all the kids had left around thirty minutes ago without a problem. She further stated the kids thought it was okay because someone posted on Facebook with this address advertising a pool party. The homeowner stated she does not want anything done for the incident.
26-006260 – 5300 BLK Connell Street – Assisted another agency/ Shooting – An ERPD Officer assisted CPD in a felony stop on a Dodge Charger that was involved in a shooting on Brainerd and Spring Creek. Once all five suspects were detained, the ERPD officer went down McBrien and Connelly to locate any additional spent casings. CPD did not wish to pursue anything regarding the associated residence.
Day Shift July 4: B Squad
26-006267- Anderson Avenue at Altamaha Street- Crash/Arrest – ERPD responded to the listed location for a single-vehicle crash after a gray Dodge Charger left the roadway and struck a guardrail. The driver stated through a translator that he lost control while negotiating the curve. He was unable to provide identification and gave conflicting dates of birth, preventing officers from verifying his identity. He was taken into custody and charged with Driver License Required (TCA 55-50-301).
Night Shift July 4: D Squad
26-006280-1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive -Domestic Assault/ Arrest – A man was taken into custody for domestic assault after he broke his ex-girlfriend’s phone and hit her in the face with it.
26-006288 – 6600 BLK Stateline Road – Domestic Assault/Arrest – ERPD was dispatched to Stateline Road regarding a domestic assault. The complainant was frantic and uncooperative upon law enforcement’s arrival. He was crying and begging the officers to leave. Officers spoke to both parties and were able to identify the complainant as the primary aggressor of domestic assault. Due to an injury and severe intoxication, he was transported to the hospital. Warrants were obtained.
26-006292 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street – Unconscious Person – Officers responded to the above address in reference to an unresponsive male. On scene, officers administered Narcan, and a short time later the male regained consciousness. The man was turned over to ERFD and HCEMS units on scene.
26-006308 – 700 BLK Germantown Road – Traffic Stop/ Arrest – ERPD stopped a red Chevy Silverado for speeding. The driver was identified and found to be revoked for DUI. Officers took him into custody and transported him to Hamilton County Jail for driving on a revoked license for DUI.
26-006311-4214 Ringgold Rd.-Warrant Service/Arrest – A party was taken into custody following a traffic stop by THP. He had six outstanding warrants for Aggravated assault (x3), Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism, and Possession of a Firearm.
Day Shift July 5: B Squad
26-006319-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service – A man was served with an outstanding warrant out of East Ridge city court for driving on a revoked license.
26-006321- 5700 Ringgold Road- Deceptive Practice – The resident reported that someone called her, identifying themselves as a bond company, and required money to bond her stepfather out of jail. She provided three payments through Chime that totaled $763 before she realized it was fraudulent.
26-006325- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – Police located a wanted male at the fuel station. He was placed in custody for his outstanding warrants out of Georgia. While in route to Hamilton County Jail, he made multiple comments to police that he was going to kill them. He was also charged with Retaliation for past actions.
Night Shift July 5: D Squad
26-006330 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Delayed Assault – A woman reported that her cousin assaulted her on July 3rd at an unknown address. During her conversation with Officers, she was able to get the address and realized the incident occurred in Catoosa County. She was referred to Catoosa County to report the incident.
Day Shift July 6: A Squad
26-006353 -4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Abandoned Child – Police were dispatched to this location after a juvenile was observed walking into traffic and did not appear to know where he was. Officers were able to locate the juvenile’s residence and return him to his mother. A DCS report was filed.
Night Shift July 6: C Squad
26-006383- 700 BLK Frawley Road- Mental Health – Police responded to the report of a male with ideations of self-harm at the apartments. The party was transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.
