Day Shift March 9: B Squad
25-004508- 601 Justice Way- Warrant Service – A wanted subject was served on East Ridge warrants for Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Schedule II, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
26-002125-100 INTERSTATE 75 SB-Suspicious Person/Arrest – A man was arrested for public intoxication after a concerned citizen reported to police there was a male walking on the side of the interstate. He was transported to jail without issue.
26-002131- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Fraud – A resident requested to speak to police over the phone in relation to fraud complaint. She advised her husband had fallen victim to scammers who stated he missed jury duty and would have a warrant for his arrest if he did not pay a fine. Police took the initial report and advised her to contact Signal Mountain PD due to the transaction taking place on Signal Mountain Road, Chattanooga, TN 37405, at a Bitcoin machine.
26-002134- 1500 BLK Merrill Street- Arrest – ERPD received an anonymous tip regarding a party in the area of 1517 Tombras Avenue who had active warrants. Police conducted further investigations and ultimately located the individual in the 1500 block of Merrill Street. The fugitive was taken into custody on outstanding warrants out of Walker County, Georgia, for Aggravated Child Molestation and Sexual Battery of a Minor under 16 years of age.
Night Shift March 9 : D Squad
26-002140- 300 BLK Camp Jordon Parkway- LPR Hit/ Pursuit of a vehicle – Police received a LPR hit on a stolen vehicle driven by an older white male with salt-and-pepper hair and a salt-and-pepper short beard. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle after dispatch confirmed it as stolen, near the intersection of Camp Jordon Parkway and Ringgold Road. The vehicle fled from the stop. Officers pursued the vehicle into Georgia, where, due to the driver’s speed and reckless driving, the pursuit was terminated. Once police obtain identification on the driver, warrants will be sworn for evading arrest, driving left of center, reckless driving, and multiple other traffic infractions.
26-002141 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant / Extradition Hold – A man was taken into custody in Whitfield County and is being held for extradition for an East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias for Driving on Revoked, Suspended License.
26-002144-6500 BLK Ringgold Road-Pedestrian Struck – Police responded to the location after a caller reported that she had struck a pedestrian in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers located a male lying in the roadway with an apparent head injury. Patrol immediately provided medical aid until EMS arrived on the scene. EMS then transported for further medical treatment. The investigation determined that the pedestrian had been in the center turn lane attempting to cross Ringgold Road at the time of the incident. The driver remained on scene and was later released.
26-002145 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – A woman was arrested for Criminal Trespass for entering the business after being trespassed for shoplifting last month. She was admitted to the ER for symptoms consistent with an overdose and released from custody for further treatment. A warrant was obtained for her arrest. Her male companion was simultaneously taken into custody for warrants out of Fort Oglethorpe for Failure to Appear and for Obstructing Police and was transported to Hamilton County Jail and held for extradition to Georgia.
26-002155 – 900 BLK Spring Creek – Disorder Prevention – Hospital staff requested police for an unruly patient experiencing a mental health crisis. The subject left the hospital upon discharge but returned to the lobby. ERPD provided a courtesy ride at the man’s request.
26-002160 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assault in Progress – Hospital security reported an assault in progress at the emergency room drop-off doors. Police reviewed surveillance and observed a male physically fighting with a female in the backseat of a red Nissan Altima. Rossville PD agreed to perform a well-being check at the registered address, but the vehicle was not located. Officers interviewed a patient in the hospital who was acquainted with both parties fighting and agreed to call them. During a brief call, the female party said she and the male were merely arguing, and then both refused to return to the hospital for an interview.
