Law and Order March 11

Day Shift March 10: B Squad

26-002199 – 6500 BLK Holiday Drive – Disorder With A Weapon – ERPD was dispatched to the above address for a male threatening someone with a knife. The RP stated the suspect started driving away in a white VW sedan. ERPD located the sedan a few houses down and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was detained, and a Glock 23 was removed from his waistband. After he was read his Miranda Warning, the suspect admitted that he had brandished his knife at the resident during an argument. A video of the assault was also provided. The serial number for the Glock 23 was checked through dispatch, and dispatch confirmed it was stolen. The party was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

26-002165- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – A man was taken into custody after police located nearly 2.65 ounces of marijuana in his possession. He was charged with possession of marijuana for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

26-002184- 400 BLK Dunlap Avenue- Overdose – Police responded to this location and located the subject with blue lips and agonal respirations, though she still had a pulse. Officers administered nasal Narcan and assisted with maintaining an open airway. The party’s breathing improved and color returned to her lips and face. Hamilton County EMS arrived and assumed medical care prior to transport.

Night Shift March 10 : D Squad

26-002189 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft / Arrest – A man was arrested for shoplifting after he confessed to stealing a bottle of vodka from the business. He was issued a summons to court and advised not to return to the property, or he would be arrested for criminal trespass.

26-002192 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Animal Call – After a Rothweiler puppy was found wandering in the lanes of travel near South Moore Road near the I-24. The puppy was brought to the East Ridge Police Department by the reporting party. ERPD referred them to McKamy and East Ridge Animal Services for assistance in identifying the dog’s owner.

26-002196 – 6900 BLK Village Lake Circle – Suspicious Person – The resident of this address called to report that a known male was found hiding behind a bedroom door while the resident’s friend was in the shower. The caller requested that the man be trespassed from her residence. Police contacted the subject at his residence and issued him a trespass warning from the caller’s address, which he stated he understood.

26-002208 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody on a warrant for Theft of Property during a traffic stop conducted by Chattanooga Police.
