Day Shift May 22: B Squad

26-004709- 3900 block Wiley Avenue- Theft from Vehicle – The caller reported unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger-side window of his vehicle with a rock and stole his wallet containing cash, credit cards, driver’s license, and Social Security card. Cameras at the residence did not capture the incident. No suspect information currently.

26-004719 – 6000 block Welworth Avenue – Domestic Disorder – A woman called to report that she, her juvenile daughter and her partner were in a verbal altercation regarding the selling of the juvenile’s non-functioning vehicle without everyone’s approval. It was found that the disorder was only verbal, and one adult would leave the residence to de-escalate the situation.

Night Shift May 22: D Squad

26-004729 – 4300 block Ringgold Road – Arrest Following Traffic Stop – A man was arrested for Driving on a Revoked License for DUI after he was stopped for speeding on South Moore Road.

26-004732 – 900 block Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency / Arrest – Officers took a man into custody at the above location on a warrant for aggravated assault through the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Day Shift May 23: B Squad

26-004744- 3600 block Cherokee Avenue – Domestic Disorder – A man and woman were involved in a domestic disorder at Cherokee Avenue. Both parties admitted to pushing/grabbing each other during a heated argument earlier in the day. Due to conflicting statements and delayed reporting, no primary aggressor was determined. Both parties agreed to separate for the remainder of the day.

Night Shift May 23: D Squad

26-004751 – 6900 block Glen Errol Way – Shots Fired – A caller stated they heard several shots go off. ERPD contacted several homeowners, and it was determined that the shots were coming from the dead end. Patrol spoke with the occupant of a particular address who stated he also heard the shots but was unsure where they came from. ERPD asked if they could go into his backyard, and he stated yes. Officers located several shell casings on the ground. The man admitted to discharging his firearm into the woods where no houses were located. He was informed he could not discharge a firearm in the city limits and needed to go to a gun range. The man stated he thought it was okay because it was in the woods, and that he will never do it again. No charges are being sought currently.

Day Shift May 24: B Squad

26-004771- 300 block Camp Jordan Pkwy Camp Jordan Arena- Theft – Police responded to this location regarding the theft of a firearm. The reporting party advised he briefly left his booth unattended and upon returning discovered a black Rock Island M1911 missing from its display box.

26-004779-2100 block Dugan Street- Vandalism – A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend returned to the property, vandalized her kitchen window, and left a threating note on her front door while she was out of town. A neighbor reported to police they had seen a male subject matching the ex’s description on the front porch of the residence shortly after the resident left. Warrants for vandalism and harassment will be sought for.

Night Shift May 24: D Squad

26-004788 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service / Arrest – A woman was taken into custody on three warrants for the charges of Due Care, False Reports, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident at the East Ridge Police Department. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-004789 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, where he was served three (3) warrants out of East Ridge for Failure to Appear (Driving on Revoked or Suspended License), Forfeiture Capias (Leaving the Scene of Accident with Damage to Vehicle), and Forfeiture Capias (Driver License Law).

26-004791 – 5300 block Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – A resident reported seeing an intruder on their surveillance camera. Police arrived on scene and determined the intruder was a pet sitter there to feed a neighbor’s rabbit.

Day Shift May 25: A Squad

26-004797- 4000 block Belvoir Pines Drive- Theft from a Vehicle – A resident stated her Subaru Outback had been gone through and her black Carhart purse containing her multicolored Vera Bradly wallet, Tennessee ID card, Debit/credit cards and a blue Tote bag containing some books and other items were taken from her car. Another resident stated his Chevrolet Silverado was also ransacked. He stated the only thing missing was his black wallet with his Tennessee ID card and a few debit/credit cards. Neither vehicle was locked during the night. Both stated the incident occurred between the hours of 2300 hours on 05/24/26 and 0930 hours on 05/25/26.

26-004811 – 500 block South Moore Road – Suspicious Person – Police spoke with the reporting party, who stated she had a strange encounter with a male she had never seen before at the church. The male, later identified, asked the reporting party to give three CDs to a priest who had not been there for some time. Although the reporting party agreed, she felt that something was unusual about the interaction. She later listened to the CDs and stated they contained nursery songs. The reporting party wanted to turn in the CDs to police to be destroyed. The CDs will be placed into property and evidence for destruction.

26-004807 – 4100 block Ringgold Road- Burglary – A man reported an unknown subject entered his apartment while he was on an overnight trip and stole his firearm. A warrant will be sought pending identification of the suspect.

25-004796 – 6100 block Ringgold Road- Burglary/Vandalism – Police responded to a call for a suspicious person. The property owner startled the suspect when they entered the building. It was found that the HVAC unit had been detached from where it was mounted, a wall with a mural had been vandalized, an upstairs back door had been broken, the lower back door had been kicked in, and a safe had been tampered with. The suspect denied vandalism but admitted to being present in the building. Based on the totality of the circumstances the man was charged with burglary and a felony amount of vandalism. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Night Shift May 25: C Squad

26-004833- 6800 block Dharma Loop – Well-being Check – While conducting a neighborhood patrol, Police Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked on the road with a female reclined in the driver’s seat. Police approached the vehicle and checked on the occupant. The individual appeared normal and stated she was just relaxing in her vehicle while playing on her phone.
