The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift November 4: Alpha Team

26-010609 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorderly Conduct – A store employee reported that a male was swearing at customers and causing a disturbance in the entrance to the store. On scene, police spoke with the subject, who was showing clear signs of possible narcotics intoxication and admitted to consuming drugs. Patrol transported the man to the hospital. The man had injured himself both internally and externally in his intoxicated state and medical personnel determined he would have to stay overnight to ensure that he received proper care. No charges are being sought currently.

26-010554 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Warrant Service – A party was taken into custody on several outstanding East Ridge warrants after he was released from the hospital. The man was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-010619 – 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Domestic Disorder – Police responded to this location after a woman called in about her son yelling at and allegedly threatening her. She said she had it on video. Officers arrived and spoke with the woman, but she was unwilling to provide the video. She said she just wanted him to be trespassed. Her son had been trespassed from this location since October 2025, and the reporting party had rescinded and reactivate the order multiple times. He was reminded of the trespass. Due to her unwillingness to provide proof of his criminal offense, no arrest was made.

Night Shift November 4: Charlie Team

26-010628 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle- Child Abuse/Arrest – Officers responded to the above address regarding domestic assault/child abuse. On scene, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated her home camera caught her husband using violent force and holding their child by the throat face down on the couch, potentially suffocating her. Officers reviewed the camera footage and found that the man used excessive violence when striking the child, pinned the child to the couch by her throat, and picked her up by her throat. The man turned himself in at the jail shortly after the incident. He was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault and Aggravated Child Abuse.

26-010629 – 600 BLK Justice Way – Warrant Service – A man was served with an Alias Capias warrant for driving on a revoked, suspended, or canceled license. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.

26-010622 – 1400 BLK Choate Road – Deceptive Practice – Officers spoke with a reporting party who stated he had approximately $800 taken out of his Venmo. He stated he received a message from a client about scheduling a tattoo session with him and was sent a link via email about payment. When he activated the link, the suspect took all funds from his Venmo account. The victim was able to disconnect other accounts linked to the Venmo before the suspect was able to gain access to them. Venmo is conducting an internal investigation.

26-010624 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suicidal Threats – Police responded after a man entered the store and made threats of self-harm to staff. The man told officers he wanted to be taken for mental health aid. He was safely transported for care.

26-010625 – 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Civil Matter/Disorder – ERPD responded regarding a possible elder abuse, where the reporting party stated his family member was refusing to provide him with his money from a disability check. The reporting party stated his mother was refusing to give him his money. Mom stated she did control the funds but couldn’t give money, as her son lost the card. Police provided information on how to get a replacement card and determined the woman was not withholding funds. Patrol was later called back after the mother stated her was around the property and potentially stalking her. He was located on public land and was waiting on his stepfather to arrive to speak with him. It was later determined the card in question was a Cashapp card, not a government issued card. The criminal trespass was explained to both once more, and the man left the area to avoid any further issues. The mother was also advised that her desire to decide when her son was trespassed and when he was not, is no longer going to be entertained and that the man will be arrested if found on the property so long as the trespass is in place. She advised she understood.
