Day Shift November 5: Alpha Team

26-010655 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive – Noise Complaint – Police responded to the area and spoke to the complainant about her neighbor working on his ATV on his own property. She was advised that the city noise ordinance does not take effect until 11 p.m., and unless the neighbor’s behavior becomes a public nuisance there is not a violation.

26-010641 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road – Embezzlement – A woman was arrested on embezzlement charges after the lending institution investigated a customer complaint and found that she used her credentials to take money from customers’ lines of credit.

26-010645 – 1300 BLK Pleasant Street – Wellbeing Check – A man reported that his friend was living in deplorable conditions with his wife and their three children and requested a wellbeing check. Police observed the children appeared well and had access to necessities. Due to the conditions of the interior of the residence, the Codes Enforcement Department was notified, and police filed a CPS referral.

Night Shift November 5: Charlie Team

26-010678 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft – A male called to report that the person who had possibly stolen his car called him. He stated that the person asked for $500 to return his vehicle. He asked if police could hide around the area so he could convince the male to return it for free. He was advised not to meet this individual and to notify the Chattanooga Police Department of the contact, as the vehicle was stolen in their jurisdiction.

26-010671 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Miscellaneous Complaint – A woman called in to report that she told a juvenile he could not park in a parking spot. She stated that the parking spots are not assigned, but she has lived there for three years, so the parking spot is unofficially hers. The RP stated that after she told the juvenile he could not park there, he cursed her. She was advised to contact her leasing office regarding parking disputes.

26-010667 – 3400 Gail Drive – Miscellaneous Complaint – A man called after his juvenile son told him a female had cussed at him for parking in a spot she believed was hers. He advised that the parking spots are not assigned. He was also advised to contact his property manager regarding parking disputes.
