Law and Order October 28

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift October 24: B Squad

25-011237-6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder with a Weapon/ Arrest – The caller reported a male pointed a gun at her during a road rage incident. Police were able to locate the suspect. Following a brief investigation, the suspect was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

25-011238-1300 BLK Spring Creek Road-Traffic Stop/Warrant Arrest – A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Catoosa County, Georgia, following a traffic stop at this location.

Night Shift October 24: D Squad

25-011258 – 1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Alarm/Suspicious Person – Officers responded to this location for a motion alarm. ERPD found a known homeless male attempting to find a warm place to rest inside. He was asked to leave.

Day Shift October 25: B Squad

25-011271 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with two warrants out of East Ridge while at the Hamilton Co Jail for forfeiture capias of indecent exposure and public intoxication.

25-011276- 4000 BLK Bennett Avenue- Traffic Stop Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for driving on revoked for DUI. His vehicle was also seized in accordance with Category II T.C.A. 55-50-504.

25-011284-900 BLK Spring Creek- Arrest Warrant – A man was taken into custody on outstanding East Ridge warrants for crimes against an animal x2.

Night Shift October 25: D Squad

No Case Number – 4800 BLK Madonna Ave – Noise Complaint – ERPD was dispatched due to multiple parties calling, complaining that loud music was being played at this residence for hours, and wanting it turned down. PD drove around the area, and the music could be heard from South Moore, several houses down from the residence. Upon making contact, a whole mariachi band was playing in the backyard. The band agreed to be done for the night so they wouldn’t bother anyone else.

Day Shift October 26: B Squad

25-011307- 1200 BLK South Seminole Drive- Suspicious Person – Police responded to this location regarding a male checking car’s door handle. Police contacted the owner, who advised that a male had left before police arrived on scene. He was able to give a vehicle description and tag number. He also asked to be put on the watch list.

25-011310-5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Disorder – A party was causing a disorder at his group home. He was in an agitated state, displaying paranoia, aggression toward his roommates, and destructive behavior. He had not slept for several days and had repeatedly attempted to leave the residence, creating safety concerns. After evaluation by Mobile Crisis, the party was accepted and transport to a facility in Bradley County without incident.

25-011315 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Theft – Reported her black Taurus G2C handgun was stolen from her purse while she attended a party on Fountain Avenue. The victim stated she confronted the partygoers about the incident; however, no one admitted to the theft of the gun. She provided the serial number to the gun, and it was entered into NCIC.

Night Shift October 26: D Squad

25-011332-4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Police stopped a vehicle due to a registration coming back as expired but having a current up to date sticker. The driver stated the vehicle was his. Upon further investigation, the sticker on the registration was for another plate. Police also could smell the odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Upon searching, police discovered a bag with 100+ Fentanyl pills, 6 Xanax bars, 3.7 Grams of crack cocaine, 31 oxycodone pills, and two promethazine bottles. The suspect was charged with Possession of Fentanyl for resale, Possession of crack cocaine, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Xanax, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Legend Drug, and altering, falsifying, or forging registration plates and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Day Shift October 27: A Squad

25-011337-6700 BLK Dharma Loop- Theft from a Vehicle – Police were dispatched to this address on reports of items being stolen from a vehicle. On arrival, police spoke with the homeowner who advised his wallet, sunglasses, checks and $100 in cash had been taken from his vehicle. The man said he left his truck unlocked overnight and when he went to his vehicle at 0730 on 10/27/2025, some of his belongings were missing. He had cancelled all his credit cards and checks, and nothing had been charged to his accounts or taken out of his bank.

25-011339 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Officers were dispatched to a reported verbal disorder between a male and a female. The female was walking outside while the male drove a gold Ford Ranger. Both parties confirmed the incident was only verbal, with no threats or physical altercation. The driver stated he was agitated due to not having coffee and was trying to get the woman back in the vehicle. Both individuals were advised to get their coffee fix and were released.

Night Shift October 27: C Squad

25-011353 – 400 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Officers located a silver Toyota Sequoia and found it had been parked there for two days. Police determined the vehicle was not stolen, and someone had been living in it. The owner of the vehicle was not located, and the store manager was advised on the situation.

25-011361 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Disorder / Mentally Disturbed – Police Officers responded to a disorder and located two males in a verbal argument at the residence. While on scene, Police quickly determined that one of the individuals was experiencing a psychotic episode based on his erratic behavior and one-sided conversations on a broken cell phone. A Mobile Crisis Counselor responded to the location and determined the individual was eligible for a 6401 Emergency Detention. ERPD transported the individual to a local hospital where he was admitted for treatment under a mental health hold.

25-011364 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive – Harassment – The caller reported her husband was harassing her through text messages and phone calls. While investigating the claims, Police determined that both resided in Kentucky. Officers further determined that one had been arrested for domestic violence in Bowling Green and was out of jail on probation. Under the probation, the man had conditions of release with the woman named as the protected person. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky was aware of the situation and planned to prosecute for the protection order violations based on testimony and cooperation.
