Day Shift October 28 : A Squad

25-011371 – 5300 BLK Spriggs Street – Theft – Police spoke with the complainant who reported seeing a man attempting to steal a tool bag from his front porch. The man grabbed the bag but quickly dropped it. He was wearing a gray jacket and a gray backpack and was riding a bike towards Ringgold Road. The suspect has not been identified at this time.

23-011350- 5300 BLK Stone Street – Disorder Prevention – Police were requested to be present at the East Ridge Animal Shelter for a disorder prevention between them and a party. The woman had stated she no longer wanted ownership of her animals the previous day but changed her mind. An officer escorted each of her dogs to her vehicle and she left the scene without further incident.

25-011367 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – The RP reported that an unknown individual emailed her work email and requested she purchase $1,000.00 worth of gift-cards for an employee benefit program. After purchasing the gift-cards, the caller disconnected, and she realized she had been scammed. Pending identification of the suspect, she wished to Prosecute for Theft.

Night Shift October 28: C Squad

25-011381 – 3900 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Activity – A neighbor reported the backdoor was open at this residence and the homeowner was gone for the evening. Police checked the home and found no evidence of forced entry or a burglary. The door was re-secured before the officers left.

25-011383 – 100 BLK Windmere Drive, Ridgeside – Suspicious Vehicle / Assist Other Agency – Police observed a suspicious vehicle traveling through the City of Ridgeside and found it displayed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified. Upon further investigation, Police found that the party had three arrest warrants through the Hamilton County Sessions Court for traffic related offenses.
