March 24 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

March 22 Day Shift

402 Choate Road (auto theft):

The resident discovered the overnight theft of his wife’s black 2012 Chevrolet Equinox  (TN CHY 764) which had been left unlocked with a spare key in her husband’s Jeep console. No suspect information at this time. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. (21-003822)

3992 Ringgold Road (criminal trespass):

Christine Paulino was criminally trespassed from the property of The Olive Branch after the owner called to complain she had been on the property since 5:00 a.m. this morning refusing to leave. Paulino left without incident. (21-003837)

4214 Ringgold Road (found property):

A citizen turned in a set of keys found at the intersection of Ringgold Road and S. Seminole Drive. (21-003829)

 Night Shift

5359 Haisten CT. Apt. B / Search Warrant (21-003860):

Officers executed a search warrant at this address for Ryan Frost regarding narcotics. Officers located 1.6 pounds of marijuana and 1.3 oz of methamphetamine during the search. Ryan Frost, Steven Daugherty, Shelley Gill, and Sconda Teems were taken into custody for various drug charges and active warrants.

5373 Reneau Way/ Recovered auto theft (21-003763):

CPD recovered a stolen GMC Sierra that was initially reported stolen with East Ridge. The vehicle’s owner was notified.

6200 Ringgold Rd/ Warrant Service:

Following a traffic stop, police detained and transported Michael Shaw for multiple county arrest warrants.

4214 Ringgold Rd/ Warrant Service:

Police served Adam Burton with an auto theft warrant.

1417 St Thomas St (21-003841):

A male subject overdosed on opiates, revived with Narcan, and was transported to Parkridge.

800 Germantown Road (21-003853):

A Silver BMW evaded at speed and was not pursued (possible registration CCR465)

4214 Ringgold Rd/Supp. (20-014821):

CPD recovered a stolen license plate out of East Ridge at Cherryton Drive and Hollyberry Lane. Two were taken into custody.

1410 Mack Smith Rd Budgetel – Auto Burglary 21-003857:

A woman reported three black male parties stole $3,000, a key fob, and Percocet out of her maroon 2011 Chevy Equinox. Police spoke with a woman who was related to two of the suspects. While on scene the suspects returned in the stolen black 2019 Ford Focus rental vehicle, TN 0V13W4. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but it fled west on Ringgold Road at a high rate of speed.

1410 Mack Smith Rd Budgetel – Residential Burglary 21-003861:

The 13-year-old juvenile sister of the woman from the above report entered room # 2301 belonging to a woman and her boyfriend. She stole several items, including a handgun, following the original incident. The juvenile admitted to stealing drugs. The gun and drugs were located, but a wallet was not. The juvenile was prosecuted for Aggravated Burglary and Possession of Schedule II.

1410 Mack Smith Rd Budgetel – Sex Offense 21-003859:

A female subject reported that she was raped by another tenant the previous week. The victim reported she already went to the Partnership for Crisis services immediately after, and a sexual assault test kit was completed. CID was not contacted due to the delay.

1100 Spring Creek Road – Found Property 21-003844:

A report was received of a suspicious backpack left on the premises. The backpack was determined to belong to a homeless party of unknown identity. The bag was placed in Property & Evidence.
