March 29 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Day Shift March 25

21-003960- 6408 Ringgold Road (Dunkin Donuts)- Suspicious Person

The caller advised of a white male screaming at customers. On arrival the male had already left the business.

21-003962- 3715 Ringgold Road (Food City)- Suspicious Vehicle

The caller advised of a suspicious vehicle at the rear of the business. On arrival the vehicle was checked and found to not be stolen. It was also parked on Cascade Motel property.

No number assigned- 6404 Ringgold Road (Burger King)- Disorder

The caller advised he was kicked out of the business. On arrival the male advised he was attempting to acquire a ride to 11th street in Chattanooga. He was advised by management to move along. It is suspected this male is the same from the earlier call at Duncan Donuts.

21-003966- Mack Smith Road @ Ringgold Road- Broken Down Vehicle

The caller advised of a disabled vehicle driven by an elderly female in the intersection. On arrival the vehicle was assisted from the roadway and police stood by until AAA arrived. 

21-003967- 1471 Mack Smith Road (Total Health Chiropractic)

Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless male sleeping at the front door of the business. On arrival the male was advised to move along.

21-003969- 1056 Floyd Drive- Suspicious Person

The caller advised of a suspicious Hispanic male in the neighborhood possibly messing with mailboxes. On arrival police encountered Jorge R. in the roadway. There was a substantial language barrier, but he was advised to move along.

21-003976- 5806 Clover Street- Suspicious Person

 The caller advised a Hispanic male was walking through the neighborhood acting strange. The caller followed the male until police arrived in the area. On arrival the male was recognized as Jorge R. He advised he was ok and continued on his way.

21-003985- 3597 Bennett Road- Wellbeing Check

The caller advised of a male squatting in the roadway in front of her residence. On arrival police encountered Jorge R. for a third time today. He was sent on his way.

 March 25 Night Shift

3100 Ringgold Road / Semi in Tunnel – 21-003987:

Police were dispatched to another semi stuck inside the tunnel. Police shut down all lanes of travel and Broomes assisted the semi out of the tunnel.

915 S Seminole Drive / Theft – 21-003991:

The complainant reported to police that an Amazon package was stolen from her front doorstep. The theft occurred sometime between 1200 hours and 1945 hours 3/25/2021. Contents included a drill, a nose ring, and a vacuum cleaner.

4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service – 21-003993:

Jonathan Mosler was served an East Ridge arrest warrant for theft/shoplifting.

March 26 Night Shift 

1410 Mack Smith room  Domestic call:

Police were called referencing domestic assault in a second-story room. Upon arrival, police discovered the tenant simply having a child’s birthday party and no domestic disorder.

3715 Ringgold Rd / Arrest (21-004053):

Mark Chase was arrested for Driving on Revoked for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.

4300 US41 (21-004058)

Doe, John arrested for unlicensed, speeding, & financial responsibility.

Belvoir Crest Dr. / AOA Warrant Service (21-004056):

Sheyenne Sullivan was arrested on a Red Bank warrant following a traffic stop for speeding.

1000 Bass Pro Drive – Misdemeanor Citation 21-004061 –

Corbin Rankhorn was issued a misdemeanor citation for Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop.

6700 Ringgold Road – Juvenile Offense 21-004065 –

Police encountered a 14-year-old female operating a motor vehicle around 0200 hours, driving her grandmother’s vehicle without permission. Per the juvenile, she had traveled to Quality Inn from Dalton, GA, with several other similarly aged juveniles to hook up with a juvenile boy’s basketball team staying there. Her companions were never located. The juvenile’s mother responded to retrieve her daughter. Charges are pending on the juvenile through JDU.

6200 Ringgold Rd/ D.U.I (21-004064) Following a traffic stop, police arrested one juvenile for possession of MDMA and two adults for various charges, including driving under influence 2nd offense.
