May 13 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 12 Day Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (harassment):

A woman at the Budgetel reported being sent harassing texts by her ex-boyfriend. (22-006691)

1410 Mack Smith Road (warrant service):

Bryant Greer was arrested on active Hamilton County warrants and transported to jail. (no number)

1410 Mack Smith Road (public intoxication):

Police observed Brittney Penn sitting on the curb at the Budgetel with a small child. Greer was arrested for public intoxication. CPS was called about the child who was eventually picked up by the child’s grandmother. (22-006696)

4214 Ringgold Road (fraud):

The complainant reported numerous unauthorized credit card and bank accounts opened in her name going back five years. (22-006704)

4338 Ringgold Road (public intoxication):

Erica Whiddon staggered into the Food Lion attempting to purchase more alcohol which the store would not sell to her. Whiddon was arrested for public intoxication. (22-006711)

3300 Ringgold Road (18 wheeler and the tunnels):

The driver of a tractor trailer requested assistance in getting turned around after he failed to observe several road signs advising of prohibited entry for his vehicle. (22-006693)

6721 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Police responded to the Family Dollar concerning a man and woman arguing. The male party, John Wayne McDowell, was arrested on several warrants through Hamilton County. He was also charged with criminal impersonation after claiming to be his brother. (22-006702)

Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (Disorder 22-006747):

Police were dispatched to this location in response to an intoxicated female causing a disorder. Upon arrival the female suspect would not answer the door and the disorder was found to be verbal only. Security advised the female would be evicted.

1410 Mack Smith Road (Arrest 22-006718):

Police were dispatched to the Budgetel regarding an assault with injuries. Upon arrival, Police met with the victim who showed signs of an assault. Police then made contact with the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. The victim was transported to Erlanger via HCEMS. Conditions were served and the victim was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

3300 Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-006743):

Police made contact with a bicycle rider with no lights on the bicycle. The rider, Clint Wolfford, was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants. The rider was also instructed on bicycle light laws.

1000 Spring Creek Road (Warrant Service 22-006753):

Police stopped to help a broken-down vehicle. Thomas Johns was taken into custody on County warrants.

5300 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 22-006735):

Nita Bowlen was arrested for tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at this location.

6514 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant Service 22-006752):

Felicia Mollard was taken into custody and transported to jail on an outstanding warrant out of Red Bank during a consensual encounter at the Mapco.

402 Scruggs Road (Theft 22-006724):

The complainant called to report the theft of his trailer. It is unknown when the theft occurred.

201 Eads Street (Runaway 22-006738):

A female subject was entered as a runaway after leaving this location without permission from her guardian.
