Municipal Court Docket for Dec. 15

The following people are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Due to COVID-19 concerns, only those in the custody of law enforcement are scheduled to appear.

Court officials said people with pending cases in the City of East Ridge and are on bond will either be notified of a new court date, or ask that person to contact the court to get a new court date.  People who are charged with a traffic offense, are asked to call the clerk’s office at 423/867-2701 to obtain a new court date

Timothy Beard – DUI/2nd, Simple Possession/Marijuana, Speeding, Open Container, No DL, Due Care, Registration Violation.

Miguel Civas – Possession Meth, Criminal Trespass, Drug Paraphernalia.

Mitchell Culpepper – Public Intoxication, Retaliation for Past Acts.

Shawn Jarrett – Revoked DL/For Capias, Registration Violation, Unlawful Removal, Light Law, No DL, Red Light Violation, No Insurance.

Dustin Morgan – Possession Schedule II, Simple Possession/Marijuana, Simple Possession Schedule IV (2), Drug Paraphernalia, No Insurance, Registration Violation, Light Law.

Doriam Mota – Vandalism/PTR.

Gerald Thompson – Possession Meth/For Capias, Revoked DL/For Capias, No Insurance.

Butch Shirley – Possession Meth/PTR.

Derrick Waldrop – Revoked DL/Alias Capias, Light Law.

David Walker – Resisting, Criminal Impersonation.

Justin Brakefield – Drug Paraphernalia/Alias Capias, Suspended DL/Alias Capias, Speeding.

Crystal Castleberry – Possession Schedule II, Drug Paraphernalia, Light Law, No Insurance, Suspended DL, Due Care.

Lori Davis/aka Merrill – Drug Paraphernalia/PTR.

Meckeal Gates – DUI/2nd/PTR.

Delaney Heathington – Possession Firearm during Felony, Tampering with Evidence, Possession Schedule VI/Resale, Theft under $1,000, Drug Paraphernalia.

Casey Johnson – Aggravated Burglary, Theft over $1,000.

Allison Kennedy – Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly.

Billie Litz – Theft under $1,000, Drug Paraphernalia.

Michael Martin – Public Intoxication.

Malik Massey – Criminal Simulation/PTR.

Corey McDonald – Public Intoxication.

Christa Stephens – Possession Controlled Substance/PTR.

Charles Thompson – Possession Controlled Substance/PTR.

Hailey Wood – Theft under $1,000, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Evading Arrest, Resisting, Drug Paraphernalia.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
