The following people are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday Jan. 7. Court is held at City Hall on Tombras Avenue and begins at 3 p.m.

Junior Beck – theft over $1,000, burglary, criminal conspiracy (2), forgery, theft under $1,000.

Samuel Carlisle – suspended DL/alias capias, speeding, no insurance.

William Henry – theft of property.

Johnny Pack – possession meth/PTR.

Christopher Randolph – unauthorized use/PTR.

Matthew Upshaw – domestic assault, child neglect.

James Waters – domestic assault, possession schedule VI, possession schedule V, possession schedule III, vandalism.

Billy Whitfield – theft of property (2).

Bobby Beardsley – aggravated assault.

Andrew Beatrice – theft over $2,500, assault on police, resisting arrest, domestic assault.

Alan Echols – possession meth, criminal impersonation, drug paraphernalia.

Ezra Ervin – suspended DL, registration violation.

Colleen Jolly – public intoxication.

Dakota Kletschka – possession schedule I, possession schedule IV, possession schedule III, drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation, theft over $2,500/for capias, possession schedule III/for capias, possession schedule IV/for capias, possession meth/for capias.

Michael Livingston – possession schedule II/meth, drug paraphernalia.

Steven Overby – possession meth/resale, drug paraphernalia.

Nikki Parson – drug paraphernalia.

Amanda Redmon/aka Lever, Howell – theft over $1,000 (2), burglary, criminal conspiracy (2), forgery (2), theft under $1,000.

Joshua Teeters – public intoxication.

Jessica Brown – DUI, open container, speeding.

Kevin Brummitt – possession/marijuana, drug paraphernalia.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
