Municipal Court Docket for March 16

The following people are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, March 16. Court is held at City Hall on Tombras Avenue. As a result of the pandemic, only defendants in the custody of law enforcement are appearing.

James Blanks – DUI/PTR, No DL, Speeding, Registration Violation, No Insurance.

Travis Burroughs – Evading Arrest/Felony, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Possession Heroin, Possession of Marijuana.

Gregory Caputo – DUI, Leaving the Scene/Damage, Red Light Violation, No DL.

Sheikh Fayo – Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism.

Shariff Fuller – Theft over $1,000, Criminal Attempt Auto Theft, Criminal Conspiracy/Burglary, Burglary of Auto.

Kyle Housley – Aggravated Assault/Police, Felony Evading, Reckless Endangerment, DUI, Suspended DL.

Melissa Hughes – Possession Meth, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Legend Drugs.

Scarlett Jackson – Evading/PTR.

Tyler Johns – Criminal Impersonation/Alias Capias.

Zackary King – Theft over $10,000, Burglary of Auto, Criminal Conspiracy, Burglary, Evading Arrest, Criminal Impersonation (2).

Michael Penley – Fraud Use of Debit/Credit Card.

Brandon Quarles – Possession Heroin, Unlawful Possession Firearm/Felon, Possession Meth, Theft under $1,000, Drug Paraphernalia.

Ronald Rice – Unlawful Possession Firearm/For Capias.

Daniel Tackett – Public Intoxication.

Alfred Wyatt – Violation of Order of Protection.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
