Police Briefs Feb. 11

The following information was compiled by ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.

Feb. 10 Day Shift

623 Camp Jordan Parkway (delayed theft):

The complainant’s called in from Iowa to report that they believe one of their bank cards was stolen from the East Ridge Hampton Inn while they stayed there on February 3rd and 4th. 

4134 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Gregory Wilson was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

824 Summit Avenue (suspicious person):

The homeowner called stating an unknown male was parked in her driveway and looking inside her shed and vehicle. Contact was made with Nathan Moore who stated he was at the property looking for George M. Moore was issued a criminal trespass warning for the location, and his red Chevrolet Cruz was towed due to Moore’s license status.

3384 Shadowlawn Drive (disorder):

The complainant stated he got into a disorder with Laquita C., the mother of his child, over child care. Complainant accused Laquita of pulling his hair and scratching him. He also claims the woman backed into his vehicle while leaving resulting in minor damage to the vehicle.

Night Shift

Keeble St (Warrant Service):

Kerry Walker was arrested on a Hamilton County Warrant following a traffic stop for a light law violation.

1222 Laurelwood Lane (Noise Complaint):

Reporting party stated two dogs at the residence were continually barking outside in the rain.  Police met with the homeowner and found both dogs were inside and dry.  The homeowner stated earlier in the evening, the dogs were put outside while the family ate dinner and they had adequate shelter from the rain.  Police found no signs of neglect and both dogs appeared to be in good health.   

3212 Gleason Drive Apt B (Vandalism):

The resident reported his residence had been vandalized.  It appeared that someone had thrown eggs at his back door.  There is no suspect information at this time. 

3600 (blk) Ida Bell.  (fireworks):

Police were dispatched to this area regarding neighbor’s hearing fireworks in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, nothing was located.

3600 (blk) Ida Bell.  (shots fired):

Police again were dispatched to this location regarding a resident who believed the noise wasn’t fireworks, but gun shots. The resident saw a blue flame coming from the back of a house on Fountain Ave. Police relocated to Fountain Avenue, nothing was located.
