Police Briefs for April 14

The following information was compiled ERPD “pass along reports.”

April 12 Day Shift

21-004944- 815 Poindexter Avenue- Delayed Vehicle Burglary-

The complainant called to report his vehicle was entered sometime around Saturday. When police spoke with the complainant he advised he mistakenly left his 2009 Toyota Tacoma unlocked overnight and the next day found his glove compartment was open. He then realized his work briefcase was missing along with his laptop.

21-004945- 3629 Ringgold Road (Food City)- Disorder-

The caller advised a customer came to him and advised he was being chased. On arrival police spoke with a male subject at the Cascade Motel. He was obviously paranoid and appeared to be suffering from a mental break. He left the motel of his own accord.

21-004957- 1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Theft-

On arrival police contacted the victim.  She advised she gave an unknown white female her Direct Express debit card to get items for her due to her lack of mobility. The victim stated the suspect, a tall white female with black hair wearing shorts and a tank top was near her room around 1300 hours and they began talking.  At some point during the conversation, the victim gave the unknown female her card. She told the suspect she could grab herself stuff as well.  According to the victim, the suspect said she would not “run off” with the card.  After waiting a couple of hours the victim called the police to report the theft of her debit card.

21-004962- Warrant Service-

Leon Woods was arrested on an East Ridge warrant and transported to 601.

 Night Shift

21-004966 – 1500 Keeble St / Poss of Meth/Warrant Service:

Robert Stewart was arrested for possession of meth during a traffic stop at this location. The passenger Rickey Christian was arrested for warrants out of Hamilton County.

21-004976 – 1417 St Thomas / Misdemeanor Citation:

Hope Foote was issued a Misdemeanor Citation for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.

20-004985 – 4000 block Bennett Road/ Unknown Medical:

Police responded to unknown medical call for a female subject, a known mental health consumer.  Upon arrival, she stated that she felt like she was raped by a spiritual being and needed to go to the hospital.  CHI Memorial EMS transported her to Parkridge East where they examined her for evidence of a sexual assault.  There was no indication of forced entry at her residence or signs of an assault taking place.  The victim could not provide a suspect description due to it not being a physical event but spiritual.  The hospital retained her for further examination.

21-004991 – 6708 Ringgold Road / Poss of Legend Drug/Unlawful Possession:

During a traffic stop at this location Dyllin Hamilton was arrested for possession of a firearm while being a convicted felon. Hope Barber was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for possession of legend drug.
