Police Briefs for April 2

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the East Ridge Police Department.

March 31 Day Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (assault) 21-004304:

The complainant said he has been staying in a room at the Budgetel with his cousin. He stated she became upset with him over money, they began to argue, and he was then assaulted by her and her boyfriend. Police made contact with the cousin and her boyfriend  who both stated the complainant became upset and punched his cousin at which time the cousin’punched the complainant. The complainant and his cousin both had swollen eyes, but police could not determine a primary aggressor. The complainant left to stay at his grandmother’s house in Chattanooga,

601 Walnut Street (warrant service 21-004299):

Brittany Olson was arrested at the county jail on an active East Ridge Alias Capias for possession of drug paraphernalia.

5719 Ringgold Road (auto theft) 21-004889:

The general manager of Car-Mart stated a vehicle inventory audit revealed a stolen silver 2014 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was pinged at various locations in Chattanooga, but it was not located. It was entered into NCIC. No suspect information is available.

5814 Ringgold Road (theft from vehicle) 21-004287: An employee of Sand T Signs reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a customer’s truck.

 March 31 Night Shift

3100 Ringgold Rd (21-004318)

Citizen reports vehicles are driving around the signage and entering the west bound tunnel.  A barricade was found to have been moved and a vehicle was observed attempting entry; vehicle stopped, operator cited.

Glenwood Avenue (21-004329) 

ERPD assisted THP in a pursuit of a violent felon, ending on Edelweiss St, in Chattanooga, with a foot pursuit and ultimate capture of  two suspects.

6514 Ringgold Rd (21-004329)

Unconscious person parked and behind the wheel of a running vehicle at Mapco was arrested for DUI.
