Police Briefs for Aug. 5

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by ERPD.

Aug. 3 Day Shift

3610 Weldon Dr-

Complainant advised her and her husband’s vehicle were broken into sometime during the night

3615 Weldon Dr (theft from auto):

Complainant called to report her and her husband’s vehicles, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, had been entered overnight. The complainant  reported the vehicles ransacked and from the Hyundai a knife was taken. From the Chevrolet her purse was taken with credit cards and identify documents. No suspect information available at this time. The vehicles were left unsecured.

21-011051 – 482 McBrien Rd – Suspicious Person –

A white female was found sleeping behind the At Home Store.  The woman stated she was homeless and admitted to recent methamphetamine use.  She consented to a search of her property and nothing was found.  Field interview completed.

21-011041 – 6700 Ringgold Rd –

A SRC Concrete truck unintentionally dumped a pile of wet concrete at the intersection of Frawley Rd and Ringgold Rd.  The City of East Ridge Streets Dept responded to the area and cleaned up the wet concrete.  SRC Concrete was also contacted and information was provided for the incident.  Report on file.

1517 Tombras Ave. (arrest)

Brian Wolfe was taken into custody on multiple East Ridge Warrants. 21-011052

Night Shift

1518 Prigmore Road / Suspicious person (21-011075):

Jennifer Miller was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after the caller advised she was sitting on the porch of his rental property. Miller was also issued a trespass warning.

5816 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop (21-011084):

Owen Moon was taken into custody on a Catoosa County warrant. Jennifer McCulligh was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence following a traffic stop.

21-011082 600 Yale Street / Domestic Assault / Arrest:

Luis Hernandez was arrested for domestic assault at this location following assaulting her boyfriend. Hernandez was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Conditions of release were delivered to the victim.

6200 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:

Christopher Guthrie was taken into custody for a Hamilton County warrant following a traffic stop at this location.

21-011077 5812 Ringgold Road/arrest-

Armando Reyes Jr was taken into custody for possession of crack cocaine after police were dispatched to this location for reports of suspicious activity.

21-011086: 3216 Gleason- Suspicious Vehicle/Arrest/Misc. Info:

Following a consensual encounter, Chelsea Anderson was found to be in possession of marijuana and a firearm. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Anderson’s ex-boyfriend. A bullet hole was located in the driver’s side of the vehicle, and the man advised his ex-girlfriend had shot at him earlier in the day in Chattanooga (near Fisk Ave). The ex-boyfriend  stated he didn’t want his ex to get in trouble and didn’t want to press charges, so he didn’t call/talk to CPD. Pictures were taken of the vehicle. CPD notified.
