Police Briefs for Aug. 6

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Aug. 4 Day Shift

800 S Germantown Road – Evading – (21-011096):

Police attempted to stop a black Jeep Liberty with a TN temp tag occupied by an older, white male driver with an older, white female passenger. The vehicle failed to stop and drove off at a high rate of speed.

6519 Ringgold Road – Super 8 – Assist Other Agency (21-011112):

The Sweetwater Police Department advised that a 15-year-old runaway’s phone was pinging at this location. The juvenile was located outside the motel and transported to the police department where he was later reunited with his parents.

941 Spring Creek Rd – Theft (21-011101):

The complainant reported the theft of her purse while during her stay in the hospital. Report on file.

5000 block Newport Dr – Stolen Car Recovery (21-011017):

ERPD took a report of a stolen car from this address along with a runaway 17-year-old juvenile who stole it several days ago. Today the juvenile returned with the car and the juvenile was arrested on attachments stemming from the theft. Both the juvenile and vehicle were removed from NCIC.

3920 Ringgold Road – Criminal Trespass/Disorder (21-011115):

Kristy Foster and her adult son Tyrell Howard were criminally trespassed at Dollar General following a disorder with employees. Per management, Mr. Howard has a history of shoplifting at this location.

Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-011123):

James Collins was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants and transported to Silverdale.

800 S Seminole (Arrests 21-011124):

Ladarrius Rolax was detained on Bradley County warrants. Horatio Houston was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two firearms were located in the vehicle. Both parties were transported to Silverdale.

6603 Hilton Dr (Arrest 21-011128):

Police responded to a disorder and located an extremely intoxicated female in the driver’s seat of her vehicle. The vehicle was partially in the roadway and partially in the yard of this residence. Destiny Wright was taken into custody for DUI and disorderly conducted.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-011130):

Cornelius Ringer was arrested on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrests 21-011138):

Timothy Matthews was detained on Hamilton County warrants and transported to Silverdale. Tara Matthews was detained on Rhea County warrants and transported to Silverdale. Tara Matthews was also issued a misdemeanor citation for driving while revoked.
