Police Briefs for August 13

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

August 11 Day Shift

22-011292- 6510 Ringgold Road- Unwanted Person-

The caller advised a homeless male was loitering in front of the business and refusing to leave. On scene police spoke with the male. He decided to leave the property.

22-011295- 5615 Clemons Road- AOA/Fallen Tree-

Police responded with ERFD on a tree in a house call. On scene police stood by while Fire handled the call. The street department responded to remove debris from the roadway.

22-011297- 3910 Fountain Avenue- AOA/Flooding-

Police responded with ERFD on a flooded house. On scene police stood by while Fire handled the call. WWTA was contacted to investigate a possible water main break.

22-011302- 505 South Moore Road- Suspicious People-

The caller advised a male and female are trespassing on school/church property. On scene police spoke with the individuals. Both were checked for warrants and issued a criminal trespass warning for OLPH property.

22-011303- 4134 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised he located a homeless male sleeping at the front of the building. On scene police advised the male to leave the property.

22-011307- 6408 Ringgold Road- Unwanted Person-

The caller advised a homeless male was loitering and bothering customers. On scene police encountered the man. He was advised to leave and issued a criminal trespass warning.

22-011309- 5300 block Clemons Road- Psychiatric Emergency-

The caller requested police assistance with an unruly patient having a psychiatric emergency. On scene police stood by while EMS handled the call. The patient was transported to the hospital.

22-011311- 6715 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised a homeless male was loitering behind the building. On scene police encountered the man. He was checked for warrants and issued a criminal trespass warning.

22-011315- 1471 Mack Smith Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised a male was kicking and throwing things. On scene he was located in the laundromat. The male was advised to leave the area. 

22-011316- 800 blk of Mount Belvoir Drive- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised a male in a white truck was sitting on the roadway. On scene no white truck was located. A short time later the caller called back and advised the truck was riding through the neighborhood. On scene the second time police checked the area, but the truck was not located.  

No number assigned- 3625 Gleason Drive- AOA-

Police responded with ERFD on a vehicle fire. On scene police stood by while Fire handled the call.

Night Shift

3920 Ringgold Rd/Criminal Trespass (22-011326): 

Transient party Lonnie Reed Jr. was criminally trespassed from Dollar General after he was found to be harassing customers and using Q-Tips without paying. The store declined to prosecute for the theft. Reed understood the criminal trespass warning and was sent on his way.

955 State Line Road / Robbery (22-011330): 

An off-duty Chattanooga officer at Erlanger reported a male party alleged he was robbed by 6 people “behind the ball fields” on State Line Road. ERPD relocated to Erlanger and were told the unknown male victim got mad at staff and drove off in a white Ford Ranger pickup. He was acting erratically. Police checked the area of the alleged robbery but could not locate anything.

3 Sheridan Road / Arrest-Warrant (22-01133): 

Jere Aireal Bundy was arrested on three Alias/Capias warrants for Forfeiture Capias for Driving Under the Influence and two counts of Aggravated Child Endangerment.

1410 Mack Smith Road / Citation-Misdemeanor-Drugs (22-011340): 

A man was issued a misdemeanor citation after being found in possession of Fentanyl.

7609 Standifer Gap Road / Arrest-Warrant (22-011349): 

Fred White was arrested on five Forfeiture Capias warrants for Possession of Meth (Sell, Del or Manufacturing), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Meth, Tampering w/Evidence, and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
