Police Briefs for August 16

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

August 14 – Day Shift

1410 Mack Smith Rd.  (Aggravated Domestic 22-011444)

A woman reported her boyfriend woke her around 04:30 this morning by screaming at her because she was too close to him. She stated he became violent when she attempted to get up, he grabbed her face, pushed it into the pillow and slapped her several times. At one point he grabbed her throat and started squeezing it cutting off her breathing. Warrants are being sought for the boyfriend.

1500 block McBrien Rd (Domestic Assault/Child Abuse 22-011460):

Officers responded to a report of an eigh-year-old child being assaulted by his mother’s boyfriend. Warrants are being sought for domestic violence and child abuse.

August 14 – Night Shift

 1600 block Keeble Street (Domestic Assault):

A male subject assaulted his girlfriend at this location during a Domestic Disorder. He fled the area with her phone preventing her from calling 911. Warrants for Domestic Assault, Interference with 911, Theft of Property, and Vandalism are being sought for the male subject. (22-011479)

1410 Mack Smith Road (AOA):

Samantha Pierce was taken into custody for a Failure To Appear warrant out of Collegedale during a traffic stop after being observed leaving this location. Pierce initially gave a false name but was quickly identified by Police. (22-011486)

1500 block McBrien Road (Warrant Service):

Jefferson Pierce was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants for domestic assault and child abuse. Pierce was transported to Silverdale. Conditions were served to the mother of the juvenile. (22-011460)

1500 block McBrien Road (Supplemental/Suicidal Threats):

Moments after police gave conditions to the child’s mother. Police were dispatched to this location regarding the child’s mother holding a knife and stating she wanted to kill herself. Police took the mother to Parkridge East for mental health evaluation. (22-011460)

5317 Spriggs St (Misc Complaint)

Police responded to this address and stood by while a representative performed a mental evaluation on a resident. (22-011471)

2100 block Dabney Dr (Delayed Assault):

Police took reports of a rape and a domestic assault from the same complainant that occurred on different days. Reports have been forwarded to criminal investigations. (22-011469 / 22-011473)
