Police Briefs for Dec. 23

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Dec. 21 Day Shift

21-018358- 6212 Holiday Drive- Alarm

Police responded to check the residence.  The house appeared to be secure.

21-018363- 1905 McBrien Road- Improperly Parked Vehicle

The caller advised a large Fox moving truck was parked in her driveway and the driver was refusing to move it.  Police spoke with the driver. He moved the truck.

21-018372- Warrant Service

Guy Bowman was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.

21-018374- 323 Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Activity

The caller advised a female put herself in the trunk of a white sedan and then the car drove off in an unknown direction. Police checked the area but located nothing.

21-018375- 4320 Bennett Road- Alarm

Police responded to check the school. Police contacted the cleaning staff and found the alarm activation was accidental.

Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Rd / Warrant Service: 21-018379

Christopher Garcia was served with an East Ridge warrant while at East Ridge Court.

21-018376 4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service

Arlantis Jones was arrested for alias capias driving on revoked and transported to the Hamilton County jail.

21-018396 1350 Ridgefield Circle / Burglary

Police responded to this address in reference to a delayed burglary report. Police reviewed video footage of the residence and observed two males enter the home and take multiple items, including the security cameras.  Report on file.

4307 Fountain Ave (Domestic Assault 21-018378)

Police responded to a domestic disorder at this location. Justin Clark was subsequently arrested for Domestic Assault.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 21-018394)

Shastina Sims was arrested by Chattanooga police on East Ridge warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

21-018400  6111 Sherwood Drive / Arrest-DUI 

Police observed a black Cadillac SUV failing to maintain a lane and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver, Juana Andres Tomas, was arrested for DUI.

21-018385- Traffic Stop / Evading

Police conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Ringgold Road on a 2014 Red Chrysler 200 bearing Georgia registration tag RUX5314 for failing to maintain lane. Police stepped out of their patrol vehicle, and the suspect fled the traffic stop in their vehicle.  The driver evaded going West down Ringgold Road. Per department policy, police did not pursue the vehicle.
