Police Briefs for Feb. 9

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift February 8

24-001646- 1000 BLK John Ross Road- Delayed Rolling Disorder- The caller advised the driver of a gray Jeep had brandished a silver firearm during a road rage situation. Officers checked the area with nothing located. The Jeep was last seen traveling East on Ringgold Road.

Night Shift February 8

24-001664 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Disorder Prevention – Police stood by while parties made agreements to get items. Parties will return another day to grab the rest of the items.

24-001661 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Disorder – A man, his girlfriend, and their son were involved in a verbal disorder. Parties agreed to separate for the night to avoid further escalation.

24-001665 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Harassment – Warrants are being sought for harassment on behalf of the victim against her ex-boyfriend. He repeatedly messaged his ex-girlfriend with threatening statements after she advised him to stop.

24-001672 – 100 BLK Dorroh Lane – Noise Complaint – A resident of the apartments called police to complain about noise with concern about an argument. The couple making noise agreed to keep the it to a minimum.

24-001676 – Weaver Street & Altamaha Street – Noise Complaint – Loud music was reported by an anonymous complainant. No loud music was observed by the police.

24-001680 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment-Telephone – The caller told police she was having issues with an overbearing neighbor. Police provided an initial report and advised her to call dispatch if harassment occurs.
