Police Briefs for July 1

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

June 29 Day Shift

No number assigned- 1509 Tombras Avenue- Unconscious Person-

Police located a man sleeping in the area of the splash pad. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.

22-009184- 6500 Ringgold Road- Unconscious Person/DUI-

Charles Witt was arrested and charged with DUI following an unconscious person call at this location. He was transported to Silverdale.

22-009188- 720 South Sanctuary Road- AOA/Animal Call-

The caller advised he found a baby fox on his property that might be sick. On scene police stood by while animal control collected the animal.

22-009190- 5080 South Terrace- Delayed Vandalism-

Police spoke with the complainant over the phone in regard to a vandalism that occurred on 6/19/22 at the AMC theater parking lot between 6PM and 9PM. The truck was taken to the dealership where the complainant was advised the catalytic converter was still there but had been cut as if an attempt to remove it had taken place. There is no suspect information.

Night Shift

1500 Waterhouse Street / Arrest:

Ashley Anderson was arrested for possession of schedule II during a traffic stop at this location. Jeremiah Baine was also arrested after police located a firearm in his backpack that was confirmed stolen out of Chattanooga. (22-009216)

3326 Ringgold Rd/unknown trouble:

While en route to this address, dispatch upgraded this to a robbery. Upon arrival, the clerk stated two subjects were arguing over jewelry. Both subjects were gone upon arrival (22-009210)

1609 Sunray Dr/theft:

A child’s bike was stolen from the front yard of this address. (22-009214)

1410 Mack Smith Rd / SIA:

During a park and walk at the Budgetel Inn, police made contact with two parties inside of a small Mitsubishi Sedan. Aaliyah Miller was arrested after being found to have an active warrant for Theft of Property out of General Sessions.

4150 Ringgold Rd / Wellbeing Check:

Sarah Prather was arrested on multiple warrants out of East Ridge when police were called to the Walmart after a concerned citizen noticed her asleep in her vehicle.

1410 Mack Smith Road/Warrant Service (22-009217)

Gerald Mccabe was arrested for two East Ridge warrants during a traffic stop at the Budgetel.

900 Altamaha St/DUI/Resisting arrest (22-009228)

Police arrested Latravious Whetstone for DUI and resisting arrest after receiving a BOLO from Chattanooga for drunk driving/possible unconscious person.

22-009226 – Warrant Service – 3600 Brainerd Rd /

HCSO arrested Deione Brooks on Active Warrants out of the City of East Ridge.

22-009206 – Warrant Service – 4100 Ringgold Road /

George McCallie was arrested on warrants out of Catoosa County following a well-being check at the Walmart Grocery store. He was transported to Silverdale Detention Center without incident.
