Police Briefs for June 11

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

June 9 Day Shift

950 Spring Creek Road (misdemeanor citation):

Koryuanna Mykia Carter was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession of marijuana. Ms. Carter was then taken into custody by Collegedale PD for an active warrant. (21-008150)

600 Maple Lane (suspicious activity):

Several area residents reported seeing three males attempting to enter several vehicles. Police searched the area but did not locate them. One suspect was described as a younger male with a chili-bowl style hair cut with twists on top. (21-008137)

3725 Fountain Avenue (domestic assault):

Alonzo DeWayne Russell was arrested after his girlfriend reported that he hit her in the face during an argument over a computer. Police originally responded to reports of a noise complaint, however, while on scene police were advised by a neighbor of a possible assault. (21-008142)

840 Belvoir Crest Drive (disorder):

Angela Hoskins reported that a female acquaintance was refusing to return her cell phone after the woman claimed Hoskins had been stealing items from her residence. After verifying the parties’ information, Hoskins was found to have an East Ridge warrant. The woman returned Hoskins’ cell phone, and then Hoskins was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to Silverdale. (21-008138)

 Night Shift

5409 Weaver Ave (Property Damage 21-008169):

The property owner reported someone had shot a hunting arrow in the trim of her residence. A neighbor was issued an ordinance violation citation for shooting the arrow into the house.

3725 Fountain Ave (Fight 21-008170):

Police responded to multiple reports of a fight between several parties. Keeosha Howard was taken into custody for assault.

3657 Ringgold Rd (Suicide Attempt 21-008174):

Police responded with EMS to a suicide attempt at the Cascades. Officers located a female who had cut her neck and arms with a razor blade. She was transported by EMS to Parkridge Main.

5800 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-008184):

Police received information of a possibly intoxicated driver in the area of Ringgold Rd and San Hsi. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of Elations. A short time later an extremely intoxicated Salvador Perez exited the business and encountered officers. He was taken into custody for public intoxication.

1300 Spring Creek Rd (Arrest 21-008187):

Cordaro Myricks was taken into custody following a consensual contact after police observed him walking in the roadway. Myricks was found to have several warrants for cocaine distribution and weapons charges through Hamilton County. He was also found to be in possession of a firearm. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and transported to Silverdale.

6305 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-008191):

Officers responded to reports of a male subject sitting in the bushes near Hardees weaving and waving his hands. Police made contact with the individual who stated he was just enjoying time alone and “rapping”.

6300 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-008193):

Officers observed a female walking in the roadway waving her arms and nearly being struck by several vehicles. When police tried to speak with the party a low speed foot chase began. Tanya Brown was taken into custody in the 1500 block of Truman Ave. She was charged with public intoxication, evading arrest, and obstructing a highway.
