Police Briefs for June 16

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

June 14 Day Shift

4338 Ringgold Road (DUI):

Austin Vance was arrested for DUI following a crash. (22-008369)

3725 Fountain Avenue (drug overdose):

The complainant walked into his apartment and found his child’s mother unconscious from an overdose. Police responded and the woman was revived with two doses of Narcan. She told EMS personnel she had smoked fentanyl, and she refused transport to the hospital. (22-008351)

4214 Ringgold Road (extortion):

A man stated an unknown person on Facebook has been blackmailing him saying he will be accused online of participating in child porn videos. (22-008357)

941 Spring Creek Road (assault):

Dennis Alexander, who was at the Parkridge East emergency room, assaulted two staff members and was arrested. (22-008350)

Night Shift

5301 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity/Field Interview 22-008395):

A sliver Subaru was observed by police sitting in the parking lot of Walgreen’s for an extended period of time. Officers made contact with the occupants. Both parties stated they had seen police and were afraid to drive from the parking lot because neither had a driver’s license. They were checked for warrants and told to call someone with a valid license to drive the vehicle from the lot.

6708 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity/Field Interview 22-008391):

A party called dispatch requesting police check on an individual who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics at the Circle K. Officers made contact with the man. He was not exhibiting signs of intoxication or impairment while speaking with police. He was checked for warrants and given a ride to Westside Drive in Chattanooga at his request.

300 block Camp Jordan Rd (Retaliation/ Disorderly 22-008400):

A female subject was transported to Parkridge East for a mental evaluation following a disorder at her residence. She displayed erratic behavior in the home and at the hospital, to the point it became very disturbing to staff and other patients. She was medically cleared and placed on a CON by hospital staff. She was transported to Silverdale on four counts of Retaliation for Past Actions and Disorderly Conduct.

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-008379):

Jasmine Bell was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant at city court and transported to jail.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 22-008402):

Walter Perez-Lopez was served with an outstanding East Ridge warrant at the Hamilton County jail.
