Police Briefs for June 23

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.

June 20 – Day Shift

 5330 Dupont St:

The resident advised that someone has been shining lasers into her windows at night. She is requesting extra patrol.

1910 Close Rd. (theft):

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a theft from a vehicle. The RP stated she had left both of her vehicles unlocked during the night. The RP stated both vehicles were rummaged through and the only thing taken was the title to one of the vehicles. No suspect information at this time.

 June 20 – Night Shift

Waterhouse/McKinley (susp):

RP called in stating a white male was walking down the road screaming and clinching his fist. Nothing located.

155 Cecil Lane (overdose):

A female overdosed on heroin at this location. Two Narcan’s were administered and she was transported to Park Ridge East.

1037 Hurst St (Animal):

ERPD assisted TWRA with an aggressive racoon.

3992 Ringgold Rd (DUI/MVC):

Tracy Webb was arrested for driving under the influence 2nd, driving while license revoked, open container and implied consent after she crashed into a Toyota Prius at this location.

3938 Ringgold Rd (DUI):

Lejuan Ice was arrested for driving under the influence, driving while license revoked and failure to maintain lane following a stop at this location.

3992 Ringgold Road (Theft):

A female party paid for one bag of ice but took two bags of ice from Dollar General.  The suspect got into a verbal altercation with an employee.  The suspect then fled on her bicycle with the two bags of ice.  The suspect was not located.  Dollar General advised they do not want to prosecute for the stolen ice.

 June 21 – Day Shift

3626 Missionaire Ave. (medical):

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a female party laying in the doorway of her home. Police found the female laying in her doorway and administered a sternum rub. The female party gain alertness and Fire and EMS arrived on scene and took over medical care. No further police action was taken.

701 Summit Ave. (disorder/AOA):

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a female party stating her baby’s daddy had their child and would not let the mother have her back. Police spoke with the male party, Joshua Fleetwood, who was willing to give the child back to its mother. During the interview both parties were checked for warrants. Mr. Fleetwood had an extraditable warrant out of Walker County, and they would extradite. Mr. Fleetwood was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

403 McBrien Rd:

Staff at Physician’s Care called police after a female party caused a disorder due to her prescription mot being filled. She was gone prior to police arrival.

June 21 – Night Shift

1417 St. Thomas St (misc):

Employee at the Motel 6 called in stating someone wrote all over a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was not damaged, and Motel 6 could not find who it belonged to. 

3920 Ringgold Rd (susp):

The manager at the Dollar General called in stating two females and a male were in the store for over an hour acting suspicious. Police had them pay for their things and leave.

1141 Chippewah Drive (theft):

Alleged bicycle stolen from this address. Pending video footage will determine warrants.

4249 Newport Drive (Attempted Vehicle Burglary):

Police were called to this address regarding three black male parties in a gray sedan attempting to enter vehicles in the area.

519 Sharondale Road (Attempted Vehicle Burglary):

Police were called to this address regarding three black male parties in a gray sedan attempting to enter vehicles in the area.

5365 Reneau Way (Attempted Vehicle Burglary):

Police were called to this address regarding three black male parties in a gray sedan attempting to enter vehicles in the area.

723 Maryland Circle (Vehicle Burglary):

The resident advised her vehicle was entered and her Louis Vuitton wallet was stolen.  There was no cash in the wallet, but the wallet worth approximately $300.  This is possibly the same suspects from the attempted vehicle burglaries in the area.

6000 Ringgold Road/Warrant Service:

Matthew Sutherland was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant following a traffic stop at this location.

1417 St Thomas St/Traffic Stop arrest:

Cedric Harris was arrested at this location for DUI, implied consent, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth. Kayla Starnes was transported by EMS to a local hospital, warrants for drug paraphernalia will be sought.
