The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

5510 Ringgold Road (suspicious persons):

Employees at O’Reillys observed two subjects enter the store appearing to be under the influence of narcotics. Police arrived and made contact with Anthony Barker and Meagan Long. Barker immediately fled on foot toward Fruitland Drive, and Long walked off toward Maxwell Road. Long was located a short time later and admitted to smoking heroin with Barker prior to going into O’Reilly’s. Barker was not located, and Long was taken into custody for public intoxication. Warrants will be sought for Barker. (22-007686)

5814 Ringgold Road Suite C (theft from vehicle):

The owner of S&T Signs reported the theft of three catalytic converters from his vehicles between last Friday afternoon and this morning. No suspect information is available. (22-007680)

1603 Mack Smith Road (shots fired):

A neighbor reported hearing a gun shot from the backyard of this address followed by seeing a male walk away with what appeared to be a rifle. A female was then observed leaving the residence in a red vehicle. Police were not able to locate anyone at this address, but four live 9mm rounds and one spent .380 round were collected next to the driveway and placed into Property and Evidence. A tag on a Dodge Ram 2500 was checked in an attempt to locate a responsible party. The truck came back stolen from Monroe County, TN.  Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Road (Aggravated Assault 22-007702):

Police responded to the East Ridge Police Department regarding a delayed domestic assault. Upon arrival officers spoke with a woman in reference to the disorder with a weapon incident earlier in the day at 1603 Mack Smith Road. She advised she was assaulted by a man who punched her twice in the face. She retrieved her firearm and fired a warning shot into the ground. She left prior to police arrival to seek medical treatment for serious injuries to her face. The man also fled the scene prior to police arrival in the earlier incident. Warrants are pending against the man for aggravated assault and theft of property over $2,500 due to him being in possession of a stolen vehicle which was recovered at 1603 Mack Smith Road.

323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Abandoned Auto 22-007715):

While patrolling Camp Jordan at approximately 0100 hours police observed a white Nissan sedan on the parking lot near the arena. The vehicle matched the description of a Nissan used earlier in the night during a carjacking in Chattanooga. The tag displayed on the vehicle did not match the car. Upon closer examination of the vehicle officers observed a semi-automatic firearm in the driver’s floorboard and a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The car doors were also found to be unlocked. Due to the possible connection to an earlier crime in Chattanooga (ultimately discovered it was a different vehicle), a loaded firearm in plain view, the odor of marijuana, the vehicle not being properly parked and being unsecured the decision was made to tow the vehicle and secure the firearm. An inventory of the vehicle revealed there were several loaded magazines that did not match the caliber of the weapon retrieved. Police also located several small bags of marijuana.

1503 McDonald Rd (Warrant Service 22-007704):

Police conducting a business check at the Waverly made contact with Walter Thomas, who was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County. He was taken into custody and transported to jail on his warrant.

Moore Road at S. Terrace (Warrant Service 22-007714):

Following a traffic stop at this location, Marcus Pollard was taken into custody on a confirmed warrant out of sessions. Pollard was also issued multiple citations.
