Police Briefs for March 5

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

March 3 Day Shift

3516 Shadowlawn Drive (identity theft):

The complainant stated her identity was stolen and used to fraudulently pay for a person’s medical bills in Florida. The bills total $3,700. The complainant, who moved out of Florida twenty years ago, does not know where the theft occurred or who is responsible for it. (21-002867) 

7155 Tanager Court (improperly parked vehicle):

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a pickup truck blocking the roadway preventing sanitation from getting their truck properly turned around. Police were unable to contact the vehicle’s owner, so the truck was stickered. (21-002847)

1706 Keeble Street (harassment):

The owner of Sonny’s convenience store called to report that a regular customer had threaten to kill the store clerk and her grandchildren. The suspect is known to carry a handgun. Police relocated to the home of the suspect’s mother, believed to be located on Waterhouse Street, but could not get anyone to answer the door. (21-002860)

3500 Ringgold Road (threats):

Dental office staff received a call from a heavily intoxicated patient who became upset and verbally confrontational over the quoted price for dental procedures. Police spoke with the caller who was instructed to stop calling the dentist’s office. (21-002855)

 Night Shift

 1500 block Merrill St (Miscellaneous 21-00288):

The reporting party stated she was upset because her roommate requested she be intimate with him. The roommate was gone when police arrived.

500 S Moore Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-002883):

A caller reported seeing a female checking multiple mailboxes on S Moore Rd. Officers made contact with Vicky Mull. Mull was taken into custody for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had a verified warrant through Catoosa County.

3827 Altamira Dr (Assault 21-002887):

Lydia Reid was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault and interference with 911 calls after she assaulted her boyfriend and took his phone. Reid was also charged with resisting arrest after she attempted to pull away from officers and kick them as she was being taken into custody.
