The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 4 Day Shift

22-006258- 4327 Easterbrook Drive- Disorder-

The caller advised four juvenile males came to her residence to fight her son. On scene police encountered the males at 1509 Tombras Avenue. All the juveniles involved were advised not to be back at the park and not to return to the caller’s residence. Report on file.

22-006248- 1506 Karwill Lane- Disorder-

The caller advised he could hear a male and female arguing in the area. On scene police spoke to the couple and found the argument to be verbal only.

Night Shift

Ringgold Rd at Spring Creek/ traffic stop (22-006300):

During a traffic stop, it was discovered Jay’wann C. was an occupant in the vehicle along with his juvenile brother. Both subjects were known to be wanted for questioning regarding a homicide in Chattanooga. Both subjects were detained and turned over to Chattanooga police. A follow-up was conducted at Budgetel Inn where Chattanooga Police requested ERPD clear and hold the room while they sought a search warrant.

Old Ringgold Rd @ South Seminole/ Backup EMS, Narcotics Violation, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm:  

Units responded to the above intersection in reference to a subject who ran over his own leg while trying to push his vehicle out of the roadway. The subject, Rodney Berry Sr., sustained significant injuries to his leg and was treated by EMS. Officers on the scene observed marijuana in plain view inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded approximately two ounces of marijuana as well as a loaded Smith and Wesson .38 revolver. (22-006281)

5600 Ringgold/ Arrest-Narcotics Distribution, Violate Protective Order: 

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for erratic driving behavior. The driver, Karen Skillern, was found to have multiple baggies of marijuana (20g), ecstasy (8), and US currency ($2,044) in her possession. Furthermore, Skillern was found to have an active order of protection against the passenger in the vehicle. She was arrested and transported to Silverdale. (22-006296)

6514 Ringgold Road (DUI 2nd Offense 22-006294):

Victor Beda was taken into custody following a traffic stop at the Mapco for Driving under the influence 2nd offense, driving on revoked for DUI, and Improper Display.

50 I-75 north / Abandoned Auto:

Officers observed an abandoned auto on the shoulder of the interstate for several days. 2001 Dodge Dakota. Broome’s Wrecker Service towed that vehicle.
