Police Briefs for Nov. 13

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” furnished by ERPD administration.

Nov. 11 Day Shift

5611 Ringgold Road (theft):

Friends and Company Salon reported the overnight theft of their city issued garbage can.

1404 S. Moore Road (theft):

The new owner of this residence reported the theft of his two city-issued garbage cans.

3604 Ida Belle Lane (criminal trespass):

Wensdy Griffith was criminally trespassed from this property after the resident observed her on the property talking incoherently and making general threats to assault people.

1900 Close Road (suspicious party):

Police were dispatched to the area regarding a white male walking through area yards. The suspected party was later located at 1504 John Ross Road. He admitted to walking through yards but denied any illegal activity. He also stated he had taken meth the previous day. He was checked for warrants and released.

3760 Ringgold Road (vandalism):

A woman with the local Trump Headquarters reported finding someone had shot the front window of their location.

1501 S. Seminole Drive (field interview):

Police conducted an FI on a man who was found walking shirtless in the rain and confused about how to get to Brainerd Road. The man was checked for warrants and taken to Brainerd.

 Night Shift

4101 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-014921):

Christina Mitchell was taken into custody for DUI following a crash at this location.

1512 S Seminole (Suspicious Activity 20-014931):

Reporting party stated she was reviewing home security video and observed a male party looking in her windows at approximately 13:00 hours.

3413 Missionaire Ave (Suspicious Activity 20-014932):

Reporting party stated a male and female were walking in the street and attempted to attack his dog. Police spoke with the RP and cautioned him about allowing his dog to roam the neighborhood.

1600 Adair Ave (Theft Attempt 20-014933):

Reporting party stated subjects in a gold Trailblazer attempted to steal a trailer.

1600 Adair Ave (Suspicious Activity 20-014936):

Caller stated a white male and black male were walking down the street staring at him. He believed it was suspicious. Subjects were gone when officers arrived.

100 Fawn Dr (Misdemeanor Citation 20-014943):

Preston Duncan was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession of marijuana.

6674 Ringgold Rd (Assault 20-014942):

Taylor Schoocraft was taken into custody for domestic assault and violating an order of protection after assaulting his girlfriend.
