Police Briefs for Nov. 4

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Nov. 2 Day Shift

932 Spring Creek Road (suspicious persons):

A man and a woman were issued criminal trespass warnings at the East Ridge Eye Center after it was found they were camping in the wooded area behind the business for several weeks. The parties collected their belongings and left the area. (21-015865)

5408 Ringgold Road (disorder):

A male subject and female subject were engaged in an active disorder at the Valero convenience store. The female subject was arrested for violation of conditions of release based on her previously assaulting the male subject. (21-015849)

1100 block McBrien Road  (disorder):

The resident called police after her homeless adult son refused to leave her home. He was taken to a homeless center by police. (21-015866)

1410 Mack Smith Road (disorder):

A female subject called police after she learned her boyfriend is cheating on her. The man left the scene before police arrived. (21-015862)

 Night Shift

3423 Shadowlawn Dr (Animal 21-015891):

A reporting party called in stating a black and white Pitbull mix was being aggressive towards his dog. Police did not locate the alleged aggressive dog.

3725 Fountain Ave (Citizen Assist 21-15899):

Party called in stating she took an Uber home but was too intoxicated to get into her apartment. Police assisted her getting safely into her apartment.

801 Summit Ave (Disorder/Arrest 21-015878):

Police were called to this location for a disorder. Once on scene officers found an intoxicated Kristin Odell.  Odell was found to be harassing the couple who live at this address. She was given a trespass warning and arrested for DUI, resisting arrest, simple possession and open container law.

3725 Fountain Ave (Miscellaneous 21-015877):

A report was generated for a parent who advised her children were being bullied at school.  

120 Interstate 75 NB (DUI 21-015893):

Zachary Ashmore was taken into custody for DUI, open container law, speeding, and failure to maintain lane during a traffic stop at this location.

3100 S. Seminole Drive (Evading 21-015894):

Police attempted to stop a gray Pontiac G6 that dispatch advised was stolen. The vehicle refused to stop for officers. Police did not pursue the stolen vehicle per department policy.

948 Springcreek Rd (Disorder 21-015882):

Police were dispatched to this location for a male party panhandling and threatening staff. Prior to arrival the male suspect, who was observed to be a homeless party, left the scene. The employee on duty asked for police to patrol the area around the time of closing.
