Police Briefs for Oct. 10

The following information is provided from ERPD “pass along” reports.

Oct. 9 Day Shift

5412 Connell Street- Back Fire:

Police responded per the request of the fire department just in case there was forced entry on the residence. There was not. The patient was transported to the hospital.

3604 Ida Bell Lane:

Back Fire/CPR in Progress- Police responded with fire on a CPR in progress. Upon arrival the patient has somewhat regained consciousness. She was transported to the hospital.

3715 Ringgold Road (Food City):

Theft- The caller advised approximately two days ago an unknown suspect stole an electric scooter/cart from the business. It has been entered in NCIC.

6673 Jordan Run:

Aggravated Burglary- Upon arrival police contacted the resident. The resident advised that yesterday evening the garage door was left open at approximately 2200 hours. Upon going out to the garage this morning to leave for work he discovered that his silver Honda and black Chevrolet Tahoe had been rummaged through.

900 block Spring Creek Road:

Sexual Assault/AOA- Upon arrival police contacted the mother of the juvenile victim. She advised that yesterday it came to light that her daughter had been having inappropriate relations with her uncle. She advised this entire incident occurred in Rockwood, Tennessee. Police contacted Rockwood Police and advised them of the situation. CPS was also contacted, and a report was filed.

Night Shift

1453 Mack Smith Road / Criminal Trespass:

Forrest Willing was issued a criminal trespass warning from the Fairfield Inn after being on the property multiple times and harassing guests, at approximately 2330 hours. Police were called back to the Fairfield at approximately 0500 hours after Willing had returned back to the property looking for his phone.  Willing was issued a misdemeanor citation for criminal trespassing. 

6647 Ringgold Rd / Suspicious Activity:

Police were called to the Oyo Hotel for suspicious activity. Contact was made with a man who called because he saw someone outside his door. Upon further investigation it was found that three hours earlier, he fired his Smith and Wesson revolver through the door of the hotel room because he said someone was outside it saying they were going to beat him up. Police determined that he was having a mental health emergency and was a danger to himself and others and was transported to Parkridge East for a mental health evaluation.

409 Alice Dr. / Unknown 911:

Police responded to this location for an unknown 911. Police never made contact with the occupant of this residence and did not observe any signs of distress.
