Police Briefs for Oct. 9

Oct. 8 Day Shift

4214 Ringgold Road (suspicious activity):

A resident of 3400 Lisa Drive stated marijuana is regularly being smoked at night in Apartment 31.

1422 Greenslake Road (overdose):

Police responded to a CPR in progress to find a woman unresponsive following an overdose after taking a “roxie.” She was transported by ambulance to Parkridge East. She regained consciousness. 

935 Spring Creek Road (hit and run):

The complainant returned to her vehicle following a doctor’s appointment to find an unknown driver had ripped the rear bumper cover off her Chevy Cruz. No suspect information is available.

1417 St Thomas Street (theft):

Motel 6 management reported the theft of a television by an unknown white male wearing a red t-shirt with white lettering. He was observed stealing the TV from room 227 at 1105 on 10/7/19.  The suspect was not the registered guest in room 227.  He was seen loading items into a silver Chevy HHR. 

1417 St Thomas Street (theft):

A woman reported sometime between 1900 on 10/7/19 and 1632 on 10/8/19 an unknown suspect took her license plate off of her black 2018 Nissan Sentra.  There is no surveillance footage of the incident due to the lack of coverage where she parked. The registration was entered into NCIC.

3709 Sullivan Avenue (burglary):

The resident arrived home to hear a strange noise followed by finding the glass from the rear door shattered. At this time the only thing missing is a Ruger LCP in .380. The scene was processed by CID.

4222 Ringgold Road (theft):

Dalton Mitchell Alexander Deanecelli, a now former employee of the Speedway, was issued a misdemeanor citation after management discovered he was stealing money.

1517 Tombras Avenue (warrant service):

Nijel Billingsly was taken into custody at court for several sessions court warrants. He was picked up and transported by Hamilton County Fugitive.

6712 Ringgold Road (burglary):

The complainant came to the police department to report that his storage unit was burglarized, and the suspects have fraudulently cashed several of the checks that were stolen.

4150 Ringgold Road (theft):

A woman requested $60 cash back at check-out from Walmart and left the money behind. It was then picked up by an unknown white male.

Night Shift

3300 Ringgold Rd (Traffic Stop/ Warrant service):

Marie Pedigo was arrested on warrants out of Catoosa County following a traffic stop at this location.

4134 Ringgold Rd (Public Intox):

Austin Casteel was arrested for public intoxication after a consensual encounter in front of Jenkins Buffet. Casteel advised that he was high on methamphetamine. 

5400 Ringgold/Arrest:

Myla Smith was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant after a consensual encounter. Tabitha Butler was issued a misdemeanor citation in leu of arrest after police located drug paraphernalia.

4145 Ringgold Road (Child Found):

A missing/runaway 14-year-old male was located in the parking lot of the Lomenacque Apartments.  The child was found to have a runaway attachment and a probation violation attachment through Hamilton County.  The child was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit and his parent was aware of the situation.

4145 Ringgold Road (Domestic Assault):

A 16-year-old female assaulted her mother in their residence.  The 16-year-old female also took several different medications and verbally stated that she wanted to harm herself.  The female juvenile was transported to Parkridge East Hospital for evaluation.  Juvenile attachments will be sought for the suspect.

4818 Maryland Drive (Residential Fire):

Police and Fire responded to a minor residential fire at the location.  Fire determined that a small appliance motor was responsible.  No structural damage was noted.
