Police Briefs for Sept. 10

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift September 9

24-011549 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Unknown 911 – Police dispatched to a Rapid SOS call with the sound of children in the background. Nothing located.

24-011553 – 100 Interstate 75 NB – Disorder-Rolling – Police were advised of a rolling disorder occurring Northbound on I-75, Police checked the area, but no disorder was located. The reporting party advised via phone the incident occurred near exit 353 in Georgia.

Night Shift September 9

24-011567 – 1200 BLK Laredo Avenue – Burglar Alarm – Police responded to an unmonitored residential alarm that had been activated for approximately 30 minutes. The residents were home but could not hear the alarm siren. The alarm was malfunctioning. No incident.

24-011574 – 6900 BLK Jordan Run – Citizen Assist – An elderly resident locked herself outside of her house and locksmith companies didn’t have anyone available to assist. Officers responded and located an open window, through which one officer made entry. The officer unlocked a door, giving access back to the resident. There was no damage to the property during entry, and no incident report was needed. Neighbors requested a spare key from the elderly woman in case this occurs again. This was the second time in two weeks that it happened.

24-011580 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Unconscious Person – Officers responded to the hotel to investigate an unconscious party in the employee bathroom. Upon arrival, the female regained consciousness. Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and searched the woman’s bags. She was identified and 9.9 grams of suspected Fentanyl and 9.8 grams of suspected Methamphetamine were in her purse. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
