Police Briefs for Sept. 17

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Sept. 15 Day Shift

3510 Mimbro Lane (vehicle burglary):

The complainant reported that sometime overnight an unknown subject entered her unsecured vehicle and removed her wallet and sunglasses. The complainant advised she received notifications on her account advising her bank card had been used at several locations in Chattanooga. (21-013393).

913 Stateline Road Apt. 606 (theft):

The complainant reported her Wells Fargo bank card was stolen by Brandy Browning when she visited her apartment earlier this date. Watson presented text messages from Browning admitting to the theft and causing several charges to her bank account. A warrant is pending. (21-013405)

941 Spring Creek Road (drugs):

Parkridge East staff called police after a female patient, who was being induced to deliver her baby, was found to be in possession of meth. The woman was also found to be in possession of heroin and a syringe of meth. Various warrants are being sought. (21-013375)

4214 Ringgold Road (found property):

A wallet and contents were turned in to police after being found by the dumpster at the Spring Creek Garden Apartments. (21-013392)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Kaalyn Royal was arrested on active East Ridge warrants. (21-013303)

6515 Ringgold Road (auto burglary):

Two EPB trucks were entered today on the lot of Champy’s and approximately $11,500 of tools were stolen. Camera footage shows a possibly gold four-door sedan associated with the theft. The tools are black and white Milwaukee power tools. (21-013402)

Night Shift

941 Spring Creek Rd (Disorder 21-013412):

A female subject was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants after leaving the hospital against medical advice.  During the booking process she required emergency medical attention. She was transported back to Parkridge East by EMS.

1512 Karwill Ln (Unknown 911 21-013416):

Dispatch advised police they received a 911 call from this location but could not understand the caller. When officers arrived they located a very intoxicated female who stated she was upset with family members who were using profane language towards her.

300 block Dunlap Ave (Shots Fired/Arrest 21-013417):

Brint Naylor was taken into custody for aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and possession of stolen property. Naylor discharged a firearm to intimidate his ex-girlfriend. The handgun, a Ruger .357, was recovered inside Naylor’s apartment. During the investigation it was learned the gun was stolen. Lisa Casteel, Naylor’s current girlfriend, was also charged with possession of the stolen firearm.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-013418):

Farryn Sivley was arrested on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.

3329 Ringgold Rd (Theft 21-013424):

Police responded to take report of a catalytic converter being stolen off a Honda Element.

6504 Burr St (Vehicle Burglary 21-013432):

Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim stated a male in dark clothing had entered his vehicle. The victim followed the suspect to Heather Street where he lost sight of him.
