Police Briefs for Sept. 8

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

September 04 – Day Shift

22-012343- Edwards Terrace- Aggravated Burglary-

The caller advised his ex-wife entered his home and took property. On scene police spoke with a male subject. He advised a female subject entered the home and took his passport with a Mexico visa. She also caused damage to the home while trying to enter. There is an active Conditions of Release in place through East Ridge City Court. Police are seeking warrants for the arrest of the female subject on the charges of violation of conditions of release, aggravated burglary, theft of property, and vandalism.

22-012349- 5830 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised of a sleeping male at the front of the business.  On scene police contacted the man who advised he is homeless and was sleeping under the awning of the business to avoid the rain.  Police advised him to move along at which time he did.

12352- 1000 blk of John Ross Road- Check Hazard-

After several reports of flat tires officers located a possible crash scene where a steel construction plate had been moved and a concrete curb was broken. The street department responded and replaced the plate.

22-012355- Bowen Road @ Land Street- Shots Heard-

The anonymous caller advised they heard two gunshots. On scene police checked the area with nothing located.

September 04 – Night Shift

3900 block Ringgold Road / Consensual Encounter (22-012262): 

During a police encounter with Cody Buckner, he provided police with a false name.  He also admitted to having drug paraphernalia in his possession.  When police went to arrest Buckner, he rammed his head into the side of police car.  Buckner was taken to Parkridge East and then Silverdale.

6700 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Drugs (22-012380): 

Katheyn Early was stopped for failure to maintain lane and was arrested for DUI and Possession of Schedule II (Cocaine). 

September 05 – Day Shift

623 Camp Jordan Pkwy (22-012403):

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Hampton Inn. Police made contact with Charles Roberson who was found to have warrants through East Ridge. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.

September 05 – Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service):

Destiny Dawson was served with three Alias Capias warrants while in custody at Silverdale. (22-012408)

2000 block Lee Street (Domestic Disorder):

Riley Odmann was taken into custody for Aggravated Burglary and Stalking after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s residence through a window at this location. He was also served with four warrants through East Ridge for Aggravated Burglary, Interference With 911, Theft, and Domestic Assault after previously breaking into the same residence and assaulting his ex.

1502 McDonald Road / Disorder) Life Care Center of East Ridge:

Upon arrival, staff stated a delusional elderly male was having a psychiatric episode and requested help getting him to his room. Officers contacted the wheelchair-bound male in a hallway, spraying a fire extinguisher at staff. Officers were able to calm the male down and convinced him to return to his room (211.)  (22-012414)

4900 block Maryland Drive (Aggravated Domestic Assault):

Police arrested Jerry Rivero after neighbors reported hearing his wife yelling “someone call the cops.” She stated her husband attacked her with a shovel and her hand injuries were consistent with her claim. (22-012424)
