The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

September 1 Day Shift

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Evading Arrest 22-012188):

Police observed a white Dodge Ram leaving the Budgetel. At the sight of officers the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Officer’s attempts to stop the vehicle were unsuccessful and attempts were halted. A short time later police observed the vehicle abandoned in the 1100 block of Harvard. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Chattanooga. Police were able to identify the driver as Dominique McReynolds. Warrants are being sought for his arrest.

5301 Marion Ave (Assist Other 22-012211):

Police were dispatched to assist GSP on State Line Rd regarding a crash where the driver had fled on foot. Officers later received a call from 5301 Marion Dr, referencing the vehicle in the crash stating it was stolen from this address. Officers made contact with Jeremy Poteet who stated his truck was taken by a party who cuts his grass. It was discovered the truck was actually taken from an address in Georgia so the entire theft and crash occurred in Catoosa County’s jurisdiction. However, Poteet had confirmed full extradition warrants through Walker County. He was detained and transported to Silverdale to await extradition.

4222 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity No Number Assigned):

Caller reported a male and female subject in a maroon car were on the property asking for money. The parties were gone on arrival.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Mental Health Consumer 22-012195):

Police spoke with a male subject, who asked for assistance in getting his Georgia benefit card replenished.
