Red Wolves Battle to Draw Against Forward Madison

October 18, 2020 By Dick Cook Leave a Comment

The Red Wolves ended their home schedule on Saturday at CHI Memorial Stadium with a 1-1 draw against Forward Madison.

The only goal of the game by the home team happened early when Greg Hurst put the Wolves on the board with a penalty kick.

The Red Wolves (5-4-5) kept that advantage for almost 60 minutes before Michael Vang scored for Forward Madison.

Red Wolves coach Jimmy Obleda told the Times Free Press that the team would try to finish the season as strong as possible and look to the future in building the team for next season.

And next season should look much different than the inaugural one, as the not-yet-completed facility will see the addition of executive suites and a giant scoreboard. Lights will be installed around the 5,000-seat stadium, the only one of its kind in the south devoted to soccer.
