The Red Wolves opened its 2022 schedule in USL League One play Saturday at CHI Memorial Stadium with a 1-1 draw against Forward Madison FC.

Jimmie Villalobos scored for the Red Wolves in the 41st minute to give the home team the lead, but Forward Madison knotted the score in the 90th minute and stoppage time ended the game.

The Red Wolves will travel to North Carolina FC next week. They will host the Richmond Kickers on April 16.

The Red Wolves went 11-6-11 in the regular season in 2021, earning a No. 3 seed in the playoffs before losing in the semifinals.
