The Red Wolves edged North Carolina FC, 1-0, on the road Saturday night in USL League One play, assuring the team a spot in the playoffs.

Juan Galindrez scored the match’s only goal in the 49th minute off an assist from Jose Carrerra-Garcia.

The win brought the Red Wolves’ record to 12-10-7 on the year, giving the team 43 total points and clinching a berth in the postseason.

Next Saturday, the Red Wolves close the regular season on the road in Statesboro as they take on South Georgia Tormenta FC.

The playoffs gear up with conference quarterfinals from October 21-23.
