The East Ridge Police Department’s SRO division scored a major victory today in our mission for safe, drug free schools.
Three people were taken into custody on narcotics and firearm charges following a search warrant service at their residence. The seizure included THC vape cartridges, marijuana, resale amounts of cocaine, Percocet, MDMA, three firearms (one confirmed stolen), several thousand dollars in currency, and drug sales paraphernalia. Officers from the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions assisted in the warrant service.
The investigation was initiated by resource officers after they gained information regarding the suspects. They worked rapidly to build that information into actionable evidence, ensuring that the items seized stayed off school grounds and out of the hands of children.
