Sept. 9 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.

Sept. 7 Day Shift

1080 S. Seminole Drive (abandoned auto):

A resident called after a black Honda was left in the roadway blocking the resident’s driveway. The vehicle was towed. (21-012914)

6642 Ringgold Road (aggravated domestic assault):

A woman was assaulted at the Econo Lodge by Marcus Brooks who was in possession of a firearm. Brooks left the area in a blue Ford Focus. Warrants were taken out on Brooks. (21-012912)

1483 Mack Smith Road (suspicious activity):

A woman called in stating that an older man was taking pictures of her juvenile daughter inside the Coin Laundry. Police made contact with the man. He gave police consent to search his phone, and police did not locate any photos of the juvenile. The woman believes it may have been a misunderstanding. (21-012925)

5630 Ringgold Road (arrest):

Steven Kittles was arrested for possession of meth, possession of prohibited weapon and public intoxication at this location. (21-012937)

Night Shift

1517 Tombras Ave (Arrest 21-012941):

Courtney Mayo was taken into custody during East Ridge City Court on a petition to revoke his bond for the original charge of DUI.

1517 Tombras Ave (Arrest 21-012942):

Kimberly Brogdon was taken into custody during East Ridge City Court for public intoxication.

6408 Ringgold Rd (Mental Health 21-012951):

The reporting party stated her adult son was not properly taking his psychiatric medication. The mother/son duo were traveling through East Ridge on their way home to Lebanon TN. Officers were able to speak with the party and convince him to take his medications and assist his mother in returning to their home.

4145 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-012958):

Franchesca Harris was detained on Collegedale warrants during a traffic stop. John Ainsworth was taken into custody for theft over $10,000 (stolen vehicle), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and possession of heroin.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-012962):

Rachel Wilson was booked on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.

6514 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-012963):

Officers responded to reports of an unconscious female in the parking lot of Mapco. Police arrived and located an unconscious Faith Rowser in the driver’s seat of a white GMC truck. After awakening Rowser officers observed approximately four grams of marijuana in the passenger floorboard of the vehicle. She was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and DUI 2nd.

5408 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-012964):

Deymer Perez Ventura was taken into custody for DUI and open container violation after being stopped for a seatbelt violation.
