September 9 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from “pass along” reports provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.

September 6 Day Shift

6200 Ringgold Rd (DUI 22-012464):

Officers responded to a BOLO for an intoxicated driver near 6000 Ringgold Rd. Police made contact with a highly intoxicated Masry Forbis driving a silver Jeep. She was taken into custody for DUI and transported to Silverdale.

6509 Slater Rd (Suspicious Person 22-012441):

Police responded to the area on a report of a female party screaming and yelling obscenities while walking through the parking lot. On arrival, police contacted the woman, who advised she was having a heated conversation with someone on the phone while waiting for her ride after leaving the Budgetel.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Intoxicated Party 22-012447):

Benjamin Wilson was taken into custody for public intoxication after being found asleep behind the Mapco.

5400 block Weaver St (Deceptive Practice 22-012461):

The complainant called to report her elderly mother had been contacted on Instagram and scammed into providing her personal information as well as her driver’s license to an unknown party after allegedly winning a lottery. The subject also sent her a check in the mail for her to deposit in her account and then redistribute the funds back to the subject. No funds were redistributed.

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-012456):

Shannon Mills was taken into custody for an active East Ridge Warrant for Probation Capias.

3100 Ringgold Rd (DUI Crash 22-012446)

John Doe struck a vehicle in Chattanooga and fled, ultimately crashing into Bachman Tunnel abutment.  He was arrested for DUI.

Night Shift

4300 block Esterbrook Drive (Domestic Assault):

A warrant for Domestic Assault has been applied for on a man after he assaulted his father at this location. (22-012457)

1511 Tombras Ave (Disorderly Conduct):

Police arrested a juvenile male for causing a disorder on the City’s playground. (22-012458)

4320 Bennett Road (Suspicious Person):

Police were called here for teenagers throwing toilet paper at the school. Police located the teenagers, and they cleaned up the toilet paper and stated it was for senior prank day. Police spoke to the school security tech who stated the school did not wish to take any police action against the juveniles. (22-012472)

6408 Ringgold Road (Alarm):

Police were dispatched to Ipatch for an inside motion alarm. Police arrived on scene and observed the business to be secure. (22-012468)

5633 State Line Road (Suspicious Person):

Reporting party called in stating a male was on her porch tapping their camera. Reporting party stated it was a male wearing dark clothing. Police made contact with the man, who stated he needed an ambulance for gout on his feet. He was transported to Erlanger downtown. (22-012475)
