COLLEGEDALE – The Collegedale Police Department proudly congratulates Sergeant Josh Booth on his successful completion of the distinguished FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Series, an elite series of leadership development courses designed to prepare law enforcement professionals for the demands of modern policing leadership.
The Trilogy Series is comprised of three intensive programs: the FBI’s Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute. Each course builds upon the last, offering a comprehensive education in leadership principles, organizational management, and ethical decision-making at every level of supervision. Completing all three courses requires determination, discipline, and a serious investment of time and energy.
Graduates of the Trilogy are recognized throughout the profession as individuals who have gone above and beyond to prepare themselves for the responsibilities of executive-level leadership.
Sgt. Booth has served with the Collegedale Police Department for over a decade, beginning his career as an unpaid reserve officer. Through steady hard work and a continued commitment to the community, he has risen through the ranks and now serves on the department’s administrative leadership team. He is currently assigned as the commander over logistics and training, as well as property and fleet management, critical roles that support the daily operations and long-term readiness of the agency.
Chief Jack Sapp praised Sgt. Booth’s accomplishment, saying, “We are extremely proud of Sgt. Booth. The Trilogy is no easy task; it takes time, effort, and a willingness to be challenged. Hard work is one of Josh’s defining traits, and the citizens of Collegedale are fortunate to have an officer who consistently puts service before self.”
Chief Sapp has made it a priority to build a legacy agency, one defined by accountability, professionalism, and a deep commitment to continuous learning. “Our job is a partnership with the community we serve,” said Chief Sapp. “Through leaders like Sgt. Booth, and the future leaders we continue to cultivate, we are building a department that not only meets the standard but sets it; where growth, integrity, and authentic public engagement guide everything we do.”
