The City of East Ridge is notifying the public of a scheduled full road closure on John Ross Road as part of ongoing infrastructure improvement efforts under the City’s P3 program. The work, to be performed by Morgan Contracting, Inc. with traffic control in accordance with the approved Traffic Control Plan, is designed to enhance roadway safety, improve underground infrastructure, and extend the service life of the roadway.

 Closure Schedule & Location:

Plan #3 (Phase 2) – John Ross Road from Cherokee Avenue to Sunrise Terrace

  • Time: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (estimated)
  • A full closure will be in place for both directions of travel.

Detour Routes:

All traffic will follow posted detour signage around the Cherokee Avenue to Sunrise Terrace work zone. Flaggers will be stationed along detour routes to assist motorists and maintain local access where possible.
