On Monday, at 5:59 p.m., Chattanooga Police officers were dispatched to a person shot in the 1200 block of Grove Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old male victim with non-fatal gunshot wounds. Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

CPD Homicide and Crime Scene responded to investigate and secure the scene.

During the preliminary investigation, the victim stated that he heard a gunshot and then noticed he had been shot. The unidentified shooter fled and has not been located.
