The Chattanooga Police Department  is investigating a shooting in the 200 block of Timber Knoll Drive.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the area after receiving reports of a person shot. Upon arrival officers located a 35-year-old man with a suspected non-life threatening gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to the hospital, and CPD’s Homicide and Crime Scene Units responded to investigate and process the scene.

Preliminary findings indicate the suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and shot him when confronted. Investigators are currently pursuing all leads. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.
