East Ridge Downs Red Bank, 2-0, in Boys Soccer

 East Ridge improved to a perfect 5-0 in District 6 A/AA boys soccer play with a 2-0 blanking of Red Bank, Tuesday at Camp Jordan.

Hunter Schobert and Adam Adem accounted for the Pioneers’ scoring with Rijad Kazic picking up two assists. 

East Ridge outshot Red Bank, 15-4, as Goalkeeper Tony Acuff notched another shutout.

Coach Jeremy McIntyre singled out Gray Smith, Jarwin Vasquez, Candido Vicente and Jamie Aguilar for their stellar defensive play.

East Ridge with an overall record of 6-1 will next play district rival Hixson on Monday April 18 at Camp Jordan. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
