East Ridge continues to be plagued by criminals getting into cars and stealing residents’ property, prompting the East Ridge Police Department to provide this reminder in a press release.
Officials said that criminals continue to take advantage of citizens who leave property in unlocked vehicles. Several thefts have occurred recently with computers, wallets, firearms, and cash stolen from unlocked vehicles.
The East Ridge Police Department again asks citizens to secure valuables somewhere other than their vehicle and at the very least, lock their cars anytime they will be away from it.
